Squealing her protest in a rather kit-like way as his tail made contact with her tabby flank, Bubble batted her friend's ginger and cream head playfully with a white forepaw, sharp claws sheathed, before loosing her balance and rolling off him onto the grainy earth. She gave a short hiss of mock anger before rolling on her back, trying to right herself before Fish could launch a counter-attack.

[size=1Wind sighed, as she listend to the voices of her tribe. Lightning was talking about being taught fighting moves - wait.. did he say her name? She knew how to fight on land, she's done it plently of time by herself, with all the time she's being fishing, she got bored alot and sometimes fought with plants, or usually just fought the air. Um... weird?
Wind shoved herself up, and walked her way to Lightning. "I would prefer not to be teachd like a to-be. I know how to land-fight."

Lightning looked up from his search for a good place to contact his ancestors when Wind approached him. His eyes narrowed at first refusal but widened with disbelief at her second statement. "You know how to land-fight? But you're a fish-catcher, and a sea-cat! Wind, I did not mean my command to be degrading or offensive, I just wanted you fish-catchers to know how to defend yourselves and, hopefully, attack. If it is because of pride that you are declining then I must insist that you do not. You're not the only fish-catcher I've asked to be taught. And everyone knows you're not a to-be." He meowed smoothly, indicating to the cave mouth with a flick of his tail.

"Being a sea-cat doesnt mean you dont have time to learn about land-fighting." She turned around, putting her tail in the air as she walked off. "And I wasn't the only fish-catcher to be taught. But last time I checked three is a crowd." She mewed, before walking to the cave entrence, not bothering if anyone followed or talked to her. Three's a crowd, she remembered how her father always taught her that. Always saying going in a group of two for saftey, you dont want to be noticed.
"Three's a crowd.."

Lightning narrowed his mint-green eyes, wondering if he ought to call after her. If she could land-fight then there wasn't any need for her to learn and she could spend the time doing soemthign mroe useful, like hunting. Light would need some food to stay strong when his sister brought her, along withthe rest of the Tribe. Speaking of Tribes, he really needed to listen to his ancestrial one. Sighing slightly, Light padded over to Wind, addressing her with a touch more coolness than he would usually. "Very well, if you are so determined to think you've learnt everything there is to know about land-fighting then you can go hunting. Try to aquire some new hunting techniques if you can. I daresay we'll be needing them if we are to settle here." He instructed the fish-catcher, turning and padding back into the cave before she could reply. The tom picked up the delicate pink-white conch shell of the Tribe of Endless Swimming and retreated to a darker corner, lying down in the moss with his ears angled toward the shell. Lightning nearly sneezed as the damp plant-stuff touched his nose and muzzle but soon switched his focus to the whisperings of the ancient Tribe. They were more important than any old moss, even if it was in a cave that held the land-cats ancestors.
-x I'm going to make a thread on the Tribe's board, I guess. Although his nose is pressing into the moss too so StarClan could be present if they wished. x-

[[ooc;; I believe I sent you the password to the board for the Tribe of Endless Swimming? I can make a board there for dreams with the tribe, to which you could make a thread if you wish.]]
Fish struggled slightly, and finally, felt the weight on his back release as Bubble pranced away, falling onto her back. Stumbling up, Fish gave a great mrrow of laughter as he watched Bubble try and right herself. Placing a paw on her exposed belly, he called, "I win!" then he leaped over her struggling form and began to prance around her, eyes narrowed in laughter. He then noticed Wood sitting a few bass-lengths off, and leaped upon his brother in a mock surprise attack. He heard Wood give a loud yowl of alarm, but, soon, his brother was shaking in laughter too as Fish batted a dark ear from on the wood-colored to-be's back.
Wood swung his forepaws around, trying to dislodge his brother, and staggered about, hardly able to support his weight. When had Fish gotten so big, and why was Wood still shrimpy? Collapsing on the ground, he gave a mrrow of mock-anger as he called, "Bubble, help! Fish is trying to kill me!" he then swung his claws behind him again, but, not making contact with any fur, did what his brother had done earlier, flicking his tail onto Fish's ginger fur as his brother attempted to push his head into the ground.

Hissing in dismay, Bubble theatrically rolled her eyes back and went limp, pronouncing herself dead before springing to her paws once her 'killer' had moved on. At her dark-furred friend's yowl she launched herself forward once again, barrelling into Fish's side in the hopes of knocking him away. This was so much more fun than fighting for real!

Sun and Dark glanced around them. Dark prowled through the crowds of cats, kissing at the thought of those land cats, hopefully they'd let their gaurd down after getting away so easily, and Ocean Sea could launch another attack. Sun licked her paw, grimacing in discust and dismay that sand wa strapped in her ginger tabby fur.

Fish grunted as Bubble barreled into him, knocking him off his brother and onto the sand. For a moment, the wind was knocked out of him, and his eyes focused. Standing up unsteadily, he was dizzied but livley as ever. "I'm glad we're on the same team, Bubble," Fish mewed with an amused flick of the ears, "I wouldn't want to meet you in battle!" He then flung himself at Bubble again, mock-ripping at her fur with sheathed, blunt paws.
Wood felt the weight lift off of him as Bubble flung herself at Fish. Standing up with a gasp, Wood yowled in excitement as his brother toppled upon Bubble, and Wood sprung back into battle, latching his paws around Fish's lower leg and attempting to dislodge him from the ginger she-cat. Fish wasn't very good at this, he realized, and resorted to batting his brother's leg curiously with a sheathed paw. Fighting just wasn't his thing. He could never be a great saviour like Bubble or Fish. Perhaps he'd be a fish catcher...
Salt purred as she watched the to-bes toppling over one-another, yowling in mock-rage and pouncing one the others. By the looks of things, the young cats didn't need much of a lesson; they were already teaching themselves! Still, Lightning had given orders that Salt had to obey, and she watched the cave entrance curiously, wondering when Island would emerge. She sat patiently, waving her tail back and fourth as she patiently awaited the emergence of the ginger-and-dark she-cat from the cave.

-x Interesting typo there with Dark, Sapphire. ^^ x-
"Same here! I think I could get used to fighting on land!" She proclaimed, attempting to dodge some of his blows while swiping her own paw at him whene ever there was an opening. She suddenly lunged forward, standing up on her front legs, and scrabled at his shoulders. Seeing Salt behind them, a mischievious glint came to her murky green eyes and she stopped fighting for a moment, leaning in towards Fish and Wood to whisper conspiringly, "Hey, how about we try some land-moves on a real boat-guard?" Her ear twitched toward Salt as she spoke, indicating her suggested target.

Fish recoiled when he caught the glint in Bubble's eye, thinking that she was about to spring another backbreaking attack at him. Slipping away, he was surprised when he noticed she had stopped figthing for a moment. Worried it may be a trap, but unable to resist hearing what secrets she might reveal, he slipped forward cautiously, tense and alert. At the mention of springing a surprise attack on Salt, his ears twitched in excitement. "Yes, lets!" me mewed excitedly, tail swishing back and fourth in the air. Wood scrabbled his paws in the sand, obviously nervous at the propspect of attacking a boat-guard, but excited and willing to go along with their antics. He said nothing, but Fish could tell by his brother's gleaming eyes that he too felt it a good idea, and flicked his ears in agreement to Bubble.
Salt looked up as sudden silence ensued. The three to-bes who had been wrestling in the sand moments earlier had come to a near stop in their antics and were huddled around one another, speaking in low mews. What had come over them, he did not know, but she did not particularly care either, and she sprawled herself on the sand, relaxed in the cold. One thing she'd miss about the sea, she decided, would be the constant rocking of the boat. The sway of the sea on wood, and she sighed, staring in the direction they came--or at least, the direction she thought they came. Honestly, she hadn't been paying that much attention, she was too preoccupied drowning in her own sorrow and trying not to suffocate on a mouthfull of herbs.

Their approval was all the little white and tabby she-cat needed to give her best battle-yowl, which was a little screechy but might have been intimidating had it not been for her opposing appearance of a big kit, and spring enthusiastically at Salt's splayed, unwary tortoiseshell form, excitement ripe in her wide, murky green eyes.

Taking Bubble's battle yowl as a signal, Fish leaped into action after her, flying through the air and toppling onto Salt's sprawled, lazy form. He landed on her leg, which he began leaping about on, pulling is paws through her fur and giving out loud, random yowls of happiness and "battle rage".
Wood, after seeing Bubble and his brother fly onto Slat, more timidly pounced on her tail and began batting at it. He stared with jealousy at Bubble and Fish, who looked like they were having the time of their life pretending to tear the boat-guard to shreds. Why couldn't he be bolder? Why couldn't he have a good time without worrying what other cats would think of him, or if Salt would get angry? His friends were having so much fun, while he sat batting the cat's tail. And yet, despite his self-pity, he refused to do something fun. He refused to take it upon himself to spring at the she-cat, tousling her fur or raking her side with blunt paws. He honestly couldn't even see himself doing so.
Salt yowled in alarm as she suddenly felt a heave on her tortoiseshell flank. Wriggling around on the sand, taken very suddenly out of her brief doze, she tried to see who the small-pawed attackers were. They couldn't mean much harm, she realized, as she did not feel the prick of unsheathed claws on her side. Turning her head and focusing her eyes, she saw the three to-bes who had ceased discussion just heartbeats before. She should have known! How could she let even her brain get this clumsy?! Giving an amused mrrow, she turned over onto her other side, batting her paw in the air. "I dare-say, this may be my last battle," she mewed good-naturedly, temporarily forgetting her misery over the fact that she was on land.

"You bet, Salt! We're gonna tear you to shreds!" Meowed Bubble enthusiastically, one white-tipped paw shooting forward to attempt to batter the older cat's ears. The little to-be gave a yowl as she did so, imagining herself digging her claws into enemy flesh instead of just batting a boat-guard of her own tribe with sheathed claws. Fighting was so much fun! Bubble didn't even notice that Wood didn't seem to share her opinion of battle but she assumed he did because she could hear his brother's yowls of excitement right in her ear. The tabby she-cat grinned and heightened her attack on Salt's ears.
