Bluestar
Tarsen turned his amber gaze towards Tizzy, blissful wonder almost seeping out of his bright orbs, "I can't wait," He purred, "Actually I can, seeing our kits grow up..." He gave a delighted sound as the two kits rose.

Nectar, now thouroghly full of warm milk, pulled away from her mother and shuffled back slightly on her belly, opening her jaws and swivelling her ears towards the crashing waves that toppled over one another as if to compete for the sky. The she-kit took in the scent of her siblings, the sweet scent of a warm, comforting family, as her brain sped up in pace, taking in as much as she could without really registering it in an avid attempt to memorize everything but forgetting the last sensation in the rush of a new one.
With this life I give you nobility and certainty and faith. Use it well as you lead your clan in the ways of StarClan and the warrior code.

|| ♫- there's only music so that there's new ringtones... ''[[ooc;; :headdesk: I am a completley horrible human being, and I apologize for not replying sooner... Also...should we find someone else to play Aria? AND someone still needs to adopt Arlen o3o]]
Tizzy watched her mate with broad black eyes as he spoke. "Actually I can, seeing our kits grow up..."
She nodded her long, thin head in agreement. "I know what you mean--it's so exciting! Even now..." here she trailed off, swishing her tail in the general direction of the kits. Elektra and Dappledspirit were sitting up, and Tizzy purred, giving them each a rewarding lick between the ears. Aria had toppled over a very irritable Ambriosa, and Twine, Arlen, and Nectar, for the most part, seemed to be retaining their peaceful kit-like attitudes. Tizzy purred at the sight of them.
"They're just so great!" she sighed, swooping her tail low over the kits, "It's almost like we're starting a clan here!" she added with a mrrow of laughter.
Life on the sea was joy.

Elektra's left eye pulled open slowly, sticky gunk clinging to the lids, followed by the other. The little tom recoiled at the newfound sense of sight. The idea fascinated him, and the tortoiseshell tom gave a small yowl of surprise, his tapping tail faltering for a moment.
Blinking the gunk out of his eyes, then swiping a tiny paw across them to clear them for good, Elektra gave another excited mrrow. Everything was so colorful! His siblings were so interesting!
Taking a few wobbly steps to the edge of the boat, Elektra heaved himself up on his hind legs, forepaws clutching the boat edge as he peered cautiously over the side. This thing that was bouncing the ground had a funny tint. It sprayed his face lightly, and he purred at the feel of it before losing his balance at a large wave and toppling nose over tail onto his belly, his tail tapping once again in time with the crash of the waves against the boat.

[[This might sounds horrible, but they could always fall off the boat and drown... ]] Dappledspirit squirmed with delight as his mom licked his head and he promptly fell over, rolling onto his back to expose his tiny pink stomach. The tom rocked himself from side to side, wrinkling his nose as his fluffy tortoiseshell fur was squished by the boat and ruffled by the wind. Eventually, with the help of a few rocks from the boat, he managed to right himself again and flopped against the closest sibling, exhausted by the effort. However, this exhaustion didn't last long because soon his eyes started to itch and the tom shook his head impatiently. What was all this stuff and why hadn't he noticed it before? Suddenly his eyes cracked open and light pierced his brain like a knife, making him mew with alarm for a moment and clamp his eyes closed. What had that been? After another moment, the tom hesitantly opened his eyes a slit once more to peer around. Colors, shapes and lights jumped out at him and the tiny tom eagerly widened his eyes to their max so they looked like little moons, wanting to see everything. Having just discovered sight, who wouldn't?

[[So sorry, I completely forgot I had Twine! D: No worries Leila. ^^ And yup, Arlen and Aria need new homes roleplayers!]] Twine's grey eyes swivelled, half open, around the boat. The tom's fluffy white fur stood out wispily at odd angles, patched madly with random splotches of ginger and black. Though his face was masked with dusty brown. He shoved through the tangle of kits to his mother's belly, tail waving about like a storm-battered fern. Soft paws scrabbling about, their soft pads perfectly soft, due to the scarce amount of time he had had to injure himself.
--
Nectar gazed around, the sweet, surprised and tranquil mixture on her face grew in curiousity as she crawled around, testing the boat's hard surface, the wind that rushed through her fur, it was... interesting, and she liked it. But what was it? That was the question.
--
Tarsen sighed in peaceful joy, "It is," He said dreamily, staring proudly at his kits with bold amber eyes, "It makes me so curious, seeing them, I wonder what they'll be like when they can talk and converse...?" The hint of the question in his voice made him wonder, what would they be like?

|| ♫- there's only music so that there's new ringtones... ''[[ooc;;yes, Arlen could, erhm, fall to his death xD;; But I feel like Aria should get another RPer, especially because Dappledspirit is supposed to be really close to her--a good plot twist, y'know?]]
Tizzy purred at Tarsen's question. He had such an imagination. Was so curious about the world. That was why they had set off for the sea in the first place. After the tortoiseshell tom had found his long-lost sister, Tizzy and him had stolen a boat and set off for the sea. It was Tarsen's questioning nature that Tizzy loved most. It caused his acceptance of her differences. She didn't know where she was from, and certainly was an odd cat, with a long muzzle, stubby limbs, and a tail almost twice the length of a normal one!
"Only time will tell," she mewed softly, before adding, "I sort of wish they could now. If they'd stop suckling, I could take a break and fish!" she purred, swatting the kits who still clung to her belly softly with a sheathed paw.
"Pests," she muttered kindly, swooping down to give them a friendly lick on the top of their tiny heads.

Ambriosa's eyes were suddenly ripping open with fierce intensity. The lids ripped apart from one-another, the seal that held them cracking, allowing light to splinter into his briain, into his vision, blinding him for several seconds while he gave a loud yowl of pain, ripping away from his mother's belly and stumbling backwards.
Hissing at this new sensation of vision, Ambriosa spat on the ground. This "light" was burning his eyes! Glowering at the world around him, the little tom stood on unsteady paws. Great. Now he could stand and see. Pretty soon he'd have to start taking care of himself! The idea was repulsive to the tiny tom.

Noticing his sibling, Dappledspirit, had just opened his eyes, Elektra scrambled foreward to the brother who was gazing around with wonder. Elektra gave a short mrrow of greeting to the calico tom as if to say, "hey, welcome to the world!" He then gave him a friendly little lick and leaned against his brother, yawning, still tapping his tail to the beat of the rocking boat, ignoring his bad-tempered brother Ambriosa.

[[Yah... should it happen later? Tizzy and Tarsen would probably be distraught, along with the kits, if they had the time to get to now Arlen. Aria should stay, way. :3]]
Tarsen chuckled softly, his amber eyes had been so dreamy for so long, it seemed like they would stay that way forever. He purred as Ambriosa's eyes wrenched open, all the kits seemed in good health, all of them would live rich, happy lives, he told himself, they could be story tellers, fighters, hunters, warriors, healers, loners, rouges, kittypets, friends enemies, explorers, travellers... and so, so much more. Then he remembered Tizzy's mention of fish, shaking his tortoiseshell pelt, he rose and smiled. "Salmon, coming up." He announced, looking around at the kits, they'd be able to eat fish soon... right? He really couldn't tell, maybe Tizzy knew? Leaning over the side of the boat, he watched the water carefully- A flash of silver salmon scales, darting through the waves, a flicker of food, a flicker of life. Tarsen's paws came down, bashing the fish with all his might against the side of the boat, claws unsheathed as he dragged it onto land, this fishing was certainly satisfying. He trotted over the Tizzy and let the fish flop, lifeless to the floor, he nudged it toward her, then remembered the fish Tizzy had caught earlier. Oops. "Ah," He stated, turning to slide the fish Tizzy had caught in between them. They couldn't be going hungry today. "When will the kits be able to eat fish, d'you think?" He asked curiously, gazing at the cat who's life was utterly and completely intertwined with his, fates that would never part as long as he could help it, because Tizzy was the missing piece of his life's puzzle, the piece that had been lost before he met her. -- Nectar nuzzled against the side of the boat, contentedly taking in her surroundings with beautifully exquisite eyes that only seemed half-focused. Her paws longed to dance, but they didn't seem to have the knowledge to do so, however much her spirit told her to jump naround and talk words she didn't know. -- Twine pulled away from his mother after a long draught of warm milk, he gazed around, then attempted to climb over his mother, wondering what was on the otherside of the milk-giver, but he fell over and landed clumsily on his paws. Little did he know, his life was to take that route for many seasons from then, as his failure at things was something that would stick with him in everything, and the triumph when he got it done, after sometimes dozens of tries. But Twine didn't try again that first time, simply instinctivly gathered that the milk-giver's other-side was a great power not to be messed with.

Dappledspirit blinked, swiping a paw across his eyes a few times as if it would swat away the mild sting off the light searing through his eyeballs. He stopped worrying about in a moment though, when his patched brother let out soem sort of amused sound. Dappledspirit's ears perked up immediately and he bumbled forward unsteadily to nudge his brother's side playfully before trying to mimick his sound. It had been a nice-soudning one, after all. Mrrow. The tom proudly shot out, eyes still flickering back and forth to take everything in. A moment ago it had hurt but now he wished he had about eight more pairs of eyes. Otherwise how would he see everything there was to see?

º New personal goal: KEEP REPLYING TO THE BOAT! O< =selfwhack=
Tizzy purred as Tarsen caught a salmon, flinging it onto the boat. It flipped about for a few moments before the life drained out of it, and it lay flat. Would it ever have had kits? A family? Friends? Tizzy liked to contemplate this before eating prey, as morbid or weird as it was. I mean, her prey had lived once too, right? Why should it be so different from her or Tarsen?
"When will the kits be able to eat fish, d'you think?"
Tizzy shrugged, glancing down at the little kits who were blundering about on the boat. Eyes were peeling open, paws were trying to stay balanced, and kits were trying to grow up--and so soon! But right now, they just looked like a bunch of wind-up toy soldiers that kept falling down and running into each-other as they made their way across the hardwood floor--that being, they brought as much joy as they would have on Christmas day. This is of course, the writer's, not the cat's, analogy.
"Whenever they feel the need to sink their teeth into one of these, I guess!" she mewed, her melodic voice tinkling with laughter as she bent down and took a bite of the succulent fish. It was still cold and icy from the sea, and carried the scents of wind and salt.
Sighing, the she-cat realized that her belly was already full. She glanced down at the kits below her--so many of them!
"Who wants a bite of fish?" she mewed joyously, prodding the salmon at her paws and pushing it into the area of the little wooden fishing boat that was most concentrated with kits.
[ooc]I suppose we'll start making 'em talk now, and I'll put up the adoption thread for Aria. Problem though: If nobody is playing Arlen, how will they get to know him? xD[/ooc]

Ambriosia wished immensely to express his discomfort with this whole situation. Colors were moving before him. He was standing. He would soon be walking on his own. He didn't want to make any more landmark achievements! He wanted to stay a helpless kit forever, and then he wouldn't have to worry about anything!
"I DON' W'NA GWO AP!" He screeched in agony, collapsing to the floor. This was certainly an inconvenience. Had he just unknowingly made another landmark achievement? Oops.

Elektra gasped as his mother spoke, and his eyes burned with excitement.
"Thish! Thish!" was his squeaked attempt at repeating the word his mother had recited. He then wobbled over to the salmon, sniffing tentatively at the area that his mother had taken a bite of. It was soft and red. Glancing up at his momma, he checked her expression to make sure that all shuttles were go. She gave an encouraging nod, and that was all Elektra needed to copy what he'd seen his mom and dad doing and plunge his little nose into the fish. It was juicy and had an ocean tang to it, something he'd sensed in his mother's warm milk, but this was it full-blast! Purring, he quickly devoured a small portion of the fish. It was good, but with his stubby, pathetic excuses for teeth, he had a hard time getting it down. His tail tapped to the motion of the boat, and he chewed to the beat of the wind against his fur. Yummy!

Ooc: Ah. x-x Yush... that might be a problem... should we just kind of let him fall overboard while he's practising walking? They could just here a splosh and rush over and jump into try and save him but in the end it's just disaster. Bic: Tarsen narrowed his eyes cheerfully and burst into the cat equivalent of laughter at Ambriosa's words- "I DON' W'NA GWO AP!" Charming, Tarsen purred as her recovered from mild hysterics, then realised that those were his son's first words. Grinning, his head spun round as Elektra began- and ate salmon! Wow. They grow up so fast. With a content mrrow, Tarsen settled down and took a bite of the fish. ----- Nectar batted Ambriosa with one paw at the noise he was making. "LOUD." She stated and glanced at Twine as he crawled about proudly. "I's hungry." He meowed simply at bit into the fish, his eyes brightened and he straightened up as they entire delight of taste came flooding into him. He gave a bouncy little shake at took another gulp.

º [ooc]Oh, that could be problem solved--but we have to see if she's planning on sticking around xP Her last post was on the 18th! If she is though, I think it'd be alright to accept--the RP sample is good enough ^^ I just can't believe I missed it! :O[/ooc]
Tizzy joined Tarsen in his chuckling as Ambriosa stated (rather loudly) his profound distaste for growing older. "Too late, kiddo," she mewed, leaning over to lick her son on the head several times, "you're growing up faster than you'd anticipated!" The grouchy little kit squirmed and pulled away from her tongue, leaving his Calico fur rumpled and messy.
"NO!" he yelled, stumbling away, "Hmph!"
Chuckling at the irony of the situation (the kit who didn't want to grow up was already trying to get away from his mother) Tizzy gave Ambriosia a gentle little shove with the tip of her tail. "That's right, beat it, scram!"
__________________________________________________
Ambriosa gave his mother a glare worthy of Needlegaze (though he didn't know Needlegaze but hey, an analogy is an analogy, right?) and turned away quickly, storming to one end of the boat as she jeered at him. "That's right, beat it, scram!"
He plunked his little behind at one end of the boat, sticking his nose in the air and attempting a ferocious hiss, fur raised and all. It resulted in more of a spew of spite and a little kit who looked like he was trying to puff himself into a balloon and float away--which, at the moment, would have suited Ambriosa very well had he known what a balloon was and by what means he could become one.
_____________________________________________________
Standing after devouring a small portion of the fish, Elektra gave a wide yawn, though he wasn't tired, followed by a single hiccup. Yum! Geez, was food good!
"Ma!" He purred suddenly, after finding himself incapable of sitting still for too long. He buried his his nose into his mother's soft, strange fur, "Pa!" he then scampered over to the oldest male tortoiseshell on the boat, giving his father an affectionate lick on the right leg. Boy was he happy to be here. After he was done expressing his love, he decided to amuse himself by walking in circles around the same three spots marking the wood of the boat--a dark spot, a light spot, and a little knot in the wood.

Dappledspirit wasn't paying much attention to his brother's grumpy attitude, although he was slightly interested in why his other brother felt the need to springs about almost spasmodically every other minute. The tortoiseshell tom's attention was mostly absorbed by the fast-moving waters around the boat. He squiggled forward to the edge, throwing a quick glance back at mom and dad, before sticking his head way out over the side. Probably too much for such a little kit as their heads weigh quite a bit more in proportion to their bodies than adult cats. Luckily the tom did keep his balance and did not tumble to a watery death. Instead, his ears and face were butted by strong winds and sea spray which immediately flew up his nose, making him sneeze explosively.
Wow! Was their home cool or what? the tom wondered what was out there under the big carpet of greeny-blue hue and how he could find out. As far as he could see, he would have to jump in. Nothing about swimming or holding his breath went through Dappledspirit's mind as it never occurred to him that air might not be under the water, or that he couldn't simply walk through it. The tom licked his lips in anticipation and stuck one paw on he rim of the boat, readying himself for the leap. "Water, water!" He yipped happily, sounding more like an annoying terrier than a young cat. What could possibly harm him now?
