Spitting in frustration, the golden warrior skidded around and charged back towards the fight between Bonepaw and the SandClan tom. He heard the other tom's plea but tit didn't really process for a moment until he realised that the best thing to do would be just to let the two fox-hearts return to SandClan. After all, thanks to Bonepaw it was too late to trick them into coming back as prisioners. Giving an exasperated growl the mentor approached Bonepaw's opponent but didn't stop. He narrowed his eyes as he let his momentum take him closer and closer to the ginger tom, hoping to barrel into him so that he could pull Bonepaw away from the dangerous fight. Then they could hiss the intruders off and report it to Wildstar. She would decide what the best course of action was.

Pepperpaw was flying down the cliff. An icy wind rushed through her fur, stinging her eyes, and while her mouth was open scenting for prey, all she could catch was the taste of dry, icy wind.
She skidded to a halt at the bottom of the slope, sending several stones tumbling down the cliff. Was that a noise she'd just heard? This was, after all, the border with SnowClan. Who knows what kind of freaks would show up here?
Slinking slowly forward, she peeked out from behind a large rock and her eyes widened at what she saw. Her sister was making an attepmt to attack a foreign cat, but was failing miserably. Realizing she'd have to save the idiot cat's tail yet again, she hurtled out of her hiding place, slamming into the tom that her sister was attacking.
He smelled like SandClan. Fishy. Pepperpaw grimaced at the smell, while trying to suppress the overwhelming urge she had to drag unsheathed claws through his flank, the desire she had to spill the blood of another cat. Rather, she took a few stumbling steps back, chest rising and falling rapidly.
"What were you doing, you stupid furball?!" She mewed in disbelief to her sister, before turning to the visitors, "And you two!" she snapped, "You're SandClan! Why are you here?!" Her tail lashed wildly behind her, and her eyes, scathing lavender, burned into their pelts with immense ferocity. Glancing back for a moment, she glared at Stormcloud. He was a mentor. He was supposed to prevent these things! Giving an irritated flick of the ears, she turned her raging gaze back to the two SandClan toms, and pushed her unsheathed claws into the ground.

Skidding past his target for the second time in as many minutes, Stormcloud let out a hiss of anger and bit back a repremand directed at Pepperpaw. They were handling this! They didn't need the apprentice in JaggedClan who was as spiky as an agry hedgehog. Shaking the anger out of his system at the same time he shook the dirt out of his pelt, Stormcloud realised he was being mouse-brained. The more help they had, the better, and as long asthe help came from JaggedClan Stormcloud didn't care who it was. "We're chasing these two pieces of fox-dung out of the territory." He hissed under his breath to a very riled-looking Pepperpaw, resistign the urge to add, what do you think? After all, it was obvious what was happening. It wasn't as if they'd invited the two cats over for a meal. The golden-brown tom then turned to the other warriors, hating how he felt less like a warrior and more like an uncertain apprentice. "Leave our territory whole now, or later in pieces!" He spat at the ginger toms, glaring at them through his eyes which had contracted into slits. Stormcloud didn't think the other warriors could be much older than himself, or younger, and Pepperpaw certainly wasn't but he still felt as though she should be in charge. And he didn't like it.

Sandthorn was somehow shoved away from the spot Stormcloud was planing to ramn him at, which was kinda weird for him because he isnt good at moving in battes. Still wrestling with Bonepaw, he kept on hissing angrly. Palmtree stood away from the fight, panting, as he started to lick his wounds, but then another she-cat was coming down the cliff. Who was that? Pepperpaw! She was Bonepaw's sister, you could tell by her fur, bu the way the little stories were told in the clans. He hissed in rage as he pushed himself up, and ran towards her, but she was too fast. Sandthorn was finally pushed away from Bonepaw by Pepperpaw. Fiesty. Mhmn, he liked. He liked alot. Maybe come back later? Sounds good. As he noticed the she-cat go back off, he flicked his ears. Then Stormcloud talked. 'Ya, we'll leave. I was already doing that." Sandthorn shot a glance at Pepperpaw, a smirk plied against his muzzle. May we met again! Palmtree stared at Bonepaw, the she-cat who was just thrown of Sandthorn or something. He really didnt expect that. He blinked at Sandthorn and straightened up, and walked out of the territory with Sandthorn at his side. (( I'll be back, foo's.))

Pepperpaw glowered at Sandthorn. Who did he think he was, giving her those looks? He wasn't even from JaggedClan! Whipping around, she hissed at Stormcloud and Bonepaw. "You two should leave. I'm going to stay here for a while to make sure those slimy fish-smelling idiots don't' come back." She had no desire to re-join her clan, and from the way the SandClan tom had been looking at her, she had a feeling he'd be back. Standing up, ears pricked, she kept her mouth open to scent for any foreign smells, and her claws unsheathed to drag them through any cat who should return. She should have just killed the two SandClan cats then and there! It would have served them right! Spitting on the ground, she kept her flaming lavender eyes wide, her senses alert.

Bonepaw could have clawed her sister's eyes out then and there. Who was she, to act like she was the boss?! Who was she to but in on what herself and Stormcloud were doing?! She didn't need Pepperpaw's arrogant ways, or her "help"! Hissing, and refusing to be in the same area as her sister for a moment longer, Bonepaw pelted up the cliff, paws slipping easily between the jagged rocks, as if she'd memorized their exact location. The two SandClan toms had been rude intruders, but Pepperpaw was more so than both of them combined! She stopped about halfway up, making sure she was utterly alone and undisturbed. Like her sister, she didn't feel like returning to camp at the moment. She was in too foul a mood. Instead, she sat down, hidden behind a large rock, and stared at the ground. What had happened between herself and her sister that made them hate each-other so much?! Bonepaw had no idea, but she felt miserable because of it, and put her head in her paws, wishing for a kind sibling, one she could talk with without feeling like she wanted to claw the other's eyes out!

Stormcloud would have clawed Pepperpaw right there and then if she had not been from his Clan but the warrior code dictated that attacking a cat from your own Clan was a sin. Instead he yowled after the SandClan cats' retreating backs, "Keep to your fish and your beach, SandClan intruders, or you'll have JaggedClan to deal with!" He found himself ready to back up at Pepperpaw's order but quelled the urge, glaring at her. "You are in no position to order me about Pepperpaw." He meowed in a voice that was near a growl. He had had no qualms with the fiesty apprentice until she began to act like she was a leader. He was older than her, at least, and apprentices were one of the few groups of cats whom he had hoped to have respect from. Some hope. He wasn't the greatest warrior in the Clan and he knew it but that didn't mean Pepperpaw had to treat him like a kit.
Just then Bonepaw sped off and he frowned with indesicion. Go after her and try to cheer her up or stay here and defend himself to Pepperpaw? Stormcloud sighed and turned around, following his apprentice's path through the pointed rocks of their territory. He sniffed the air for a heartbeat, detecting her scent and padded after it to see a big rock. If he had not previosuly known she was there, Stormcloud would never have guessed she was. Padding around the rock tenatively, he wondered if she would mind the intrusion. Pepperpaw and Bonepaw did share their ferocity, although Bonepaw's was more well-directed. Crouching down beside the black and white apprentice he looked at the ground, unsure of what to say. Maybe he should just give her some time alone? But what kind of mentoring was that? "Are you...are you okay?" He mumbled, tail twitchign with self-exasperation. Are you okay? If she was, would she be here? A clue - no.

♫ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >>Bonepaw sighed as Stormcloud crouched beside her, glad for his company. She was going to insist that everything was fine--that she was totally okay. But no. She was sitting behind a rock, shaking. It wasn't okay. Suddenly, she was pouring out her emotions to Stormcloud, her lavender eyes wide.
"When did it get like this?!" she mewed, a tremor in her voice, "When did me and Pepperpaw become so different? When did she grow so insolent? When--" here, she choked out a sob, "--when did she start to...to hate me? Wh-why is she like this?" Bonepaw did not understand her sister's behavior. Why was she acting like this? How long had their hate for each-other raged on? When had Pepperpaw stopped loving her?
Bonepaw shuddered, and ducked her head in an attempt to hide the tears welling up in her eyes, but she was quite aware of their slaps against the cold, hard stone on which she was sitting. Suddenly, she wanted nothing more than to be close to another cat. To feel their pelt against hers. Why couldn't it be like this with her sister? She had no cat in the clan who she was close to. No cat she could turn to for help, for advice, to pour out her emotions to. Her own sister hated her. And she couldn't stop the thought that came next: Is this the right clan for me?
Then again, if JaggedClan wasn't, what was? <<- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ♫

Palmtree and Sandthorn stayed quiet the whole way, but Sandthorn broke the silence at the forest. He looked at Palmtree. "I'm gonna go hunt." He said, and turned into the forest. Palmtree rolled his eyes and went to camp.
Sandthorn blinked, and got on a smirk as he saw Palmtree go into the forest. He stirred around and went back to the Jagged-Snow Strip. Smirk still laid on his face as he started to feel the winds, and he noticed Pepperpaw was still there. "Well well well.." He purrs, and walked up to the she-cat, staying two fox-lengths away from her, smirk still laid on his face. "What are you doing still sitting here?" He smiled.

Pepperpaw hissed at Sandthorn's return. Didn't he know to stay off territory that wasn't his?! Hadn't she made that perfectly clear the first time around? Stepping forward, she gave him her best glare.
"What am I doing here?!" she mewed in shock, "I just drove you out, I should be asking you that question!" she hissed, flexing her claws in and out of her paws. Sniffing, she added, "And, if you must know, I'm staying here to make sure intruders like you don't return!" spitting, tail lashing, she glared at him with fierce, lavender eyes. A challenge. Daring him to defy her so she could rake her claws through his pelt like she had been longing to do for moons.

Sandthorn smiled, and nearly jumped back at the time she got up. He blinked. "I didnt come for a fight, I came to talk to you. I like you, Pepperpaw. Cant.. we just be friends? For once he talked a little calmer, in a sweeter voice then his rouge, bad-boy voice he usually used. He shrugged as he kept his eyes locked on Pepperpaw, his body ready for a fight if she wanted one, not like he wanted it.

♫ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >>Pepperpaw twitched her ears in irritation. He was from a rival clan. He was a warrior, she, an apprentice. There was no way he actually wanted to be friends with her, unless there was some evil motive behind it. Perhaps he wanted to get closer to JaggedClan. To overthrow it, perhaps? It seemed to Pepperpaw that it'd be the easiest to overthrow, seeing as their leader was a kit-like wuss.
"I'll ask you again, and this time, I want the truth," she mewed slowly, tail lashing, "Why have you come back?"

Blinking, he stared at the she-cat apprentice. She didnt beleive him? He stared at her for a few seconds, and lashed his tail in the process before sitting down and then wrapping his tail around his paws calmly. "Didnt I already tell you? I really came back to see you." His face was plain, not bothing to put a smirk on his face or a smile. He sheathed his claws again as he yawned, and then closed his muzzle and looked at her.
(OOC: eh. its fine. >< My post suck alot too.)

Stormcloud felt his heart go out to the lonely apprentice as her worries began to flood out to him. He hadn't realised she was feeling so bad. What kind of mentoring was that? Mentors were supposed to be supportive and in tune with their apprentices. He may have tried to do the first but he'd obviously failed very badly at the second. He probably hadn't been ready for an apprentice so soon after becoming a warrior himself but he had Bonepaw now and that wasn't something he wanted to change.
"Pepperpaw doesn't hate you. Maybe you don't always see eye to eye but she's your sister - of course she doesn't hate you." Stormcloud wasn't entirely sure if Pepperpaw loved Bonepaw like a sister should but that wasn't due to any fault of the she-cat in front of him. She was a perfectly loveable cat. It was simply too bad Pepperpaw couldn't see that. He wondered if he ought to mention something about his own brother. They had had a big fight the day he died, actually, but perhaps now wasn't the time. They had been close, unlike the two sisters, so it might just depress her more.
Unfortunately it soon became all too aparent that Stormcloud really sucked at comforting. Bonepaw began to cry and Stormcloud found himself wondering if he should just pretend he hadn't seen anything and go. After all, he didnt' know many cats who liked to be caught crying. Then again, it was probably too late to make a hasty retreat and Stormcloud realised he did want to help. He didn't know what to say to cheer the normally-hyper she-cat up so he shuffled closer awkwardly until his plet was brushing hers and gave her a lick between the ears like he'd seen queens do to bawling kits. It might help, and it was better than just running back to camp.

♫ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> Pepperpaws's eyes narrowed. This cat actually wanted to see her? They widened then. Did he like her? Was he padding after a cat--no, an apprentice of a different clan in a lovesick daze? The thought fascinated Pepperpaw, and her ears flicked in excitement at the thought. She could not hide the intrest that flooded into her face then. This cat was a traitor. He went against everything he stood for. And it was this that made Pepperpaw want to know about him.
"Really?" she mewed, taking a few timid steps toward the tom, "You...you actually want to see me? Keeping her claws unsheathed in case he decided to attack her, she took two more paces toward him. "Why?" she added, lavender eyes burning with curiosity. What could drive this SandClan cat to come after her?
+ + + + + + + + + +
Bonepaw continued crying for a while. She had needed it--a good cry, just to get out all the frustration of her relationship with her sister. Her mentor shuffled closer and gave her a few reassuring licks between the ears. No cat had ever done that before, and it comforted her.
After a while, her tears dried up, though her soft lavender eyes were still damp. She gave a few sniffs, greatful to her mentor's reassurement--even if it was just a few awkward licks between the ears. He had tried. Standing up, and suddenly feeling slightly embarassed for crying, she gave her pelt a quick shake.
"Thanks, Stormcloud," she mewed softly, before giving another snivvel and adding, "Isn't tonight the gathering? We sh-should go back to camp," her voice still quavered a bit from the crying, and giving her fur a few brief licks, she tried to compose herself. It would not do to return to camp in such a state, and she padded forward, trying to be bright again. "C-c'mon, Stormcloud!" she mewed, picking her way more carefully than usual across the rocky surface.

The cat flickered his ears, watching Pepperpaw. He and Palmtree's father always said to follow whats right; and what he meant is that you should do what your heart tells you. Anyway, Sandthorn's orange tail flickered a few times. Paws dug into the ground, wondering what she would say now.
Really?
He flickered his ears back to the she-cat, nodding. You...you actually want to see me? She said, almost soon after that. He nodded and purred, smile on his face. Why? He stopped purring, as the smile faded, as he stood up, raising one paw to show he was sheathed, pretty much promising to not attack her. The tom approuched her, before sitting about, a tail length from her front side. "I like your attitude, not to mention.." His voice faded off before he sighed. "Your pretty." He commented, thinking he would blush somehow, he looked away with a nervous gaze.
