Veiledeyes, now that a pinch of adrenaline was working it's way through her blood stream, found herself making almost comical sequence of glances. Feathersky, Ravenpaw, Feathersky, her own paws, Ravenpaw, paws...you get it. Of course, the frantic jolts began to calm down as Ravenpaw meowed an "Okay." The ashen warrior let out a sigh then, red-dusted ears seeming to collapse for a second. Darn, adrenaline took a lot out of her...and waiting for a tense situation to die down.
"Oh, that tom? He's Thunderpaw, he just ar--" "Veiledeyes, did you mean go training?"
The mentor blinked, surprised by the sudden eagerness by her apprentice, who's mood seemed to sky-rocketed in that second. Wow, she really wanted to train... Veiledeyes allowed a lopsided grin to twitch along her muzzle, especially as her apprentice's eyes nearly began glowing.
"Well, yeah," The she-cat meowed, backing out of the Apprentice's Den, showing her eagerness to get out of camp. "I thought it's time I brought you out!" By now the lopsided grin had straightened out, and Veiledeyes realized she truly couldn't wait to train Ravenpaw. Watching the apprentice grow even more ecstatic with wide, pale green eyes. And then, it came again...she had no idea on what to train her apprentice. Nervous...
"Err..so what do you prefer? Fighting training or hunting or borders or...well..." Veiledyes felt her ears flatten again. Not very mentor like, was she?

Ashpaw padded slowly over to the apprentice den- settling comfortably at the front, he began to rasp his tongue along his stormy pelt, eyes gleaming in the shadows as a few small dapples of sunlight fell across a few fragments of his flank.
--
Brokenhope sat on the floor of the elder's den with his tail curled rigidly around his legs. The stocky tom would have looked as if he had once been a great warrior- Apart from the small fact that he only had three legs and one eye. His steely sea-green gaze travelled around camp as the wind caught the white fur of his chest, the chocolate-brown of his sleek paws and the grey, russet-tinged fur of his pelt. His ringed tail twitched slightly as he picked at a mouse, face bitter.
--
Hazelgaze glanced at her brother- and sighed. Despite usually being cheerful, seeing Brokenhope always so... faithless made her feel slightly sad. Her sparkling brown eyes looked away as she prowled around the elder's den, stretching her limbs as she watched the cats around camp curiously. Swiftly forgetting her brother's stubbornly stuck pessimistic mood, a small smile formed on her grey, tabby maw as she saw two new cats enter the camp, though it dropped to concern when Feathersky raced in. Her plumy, black-tipped tail twitched, but soon everything seemed under control once more, comforted, Hazelgaze gave her brown-tinged chest a slight lick after a messy patch and looked back up.

iRaven 'Well...' Ravenpaw thought for a moment. 'I've always wanted to learn how to hunt.' Her blue eyes sparkled. What would training be like? The other apprentices seemed to enjoy it. Was it going to be great? Ravenpaw was sure it was going to be. She shook her shoulders a bit, and followed her mentor out of the den. 'Hunting.' She decided. 'But I want to learn how to fight aswell, and, and, patrolling and stuff.'
Ravenpaw was practically bouncing on her paws again. 'Veiledeyes this is gonna be great!' Her tail was waving in the air happily, and she seemed thrilled with everything about the day so far, except from the Feathersky incident. 'Come on then, lets GO!' She purred, racing around in hyper circles - of Ravenpaw exitement. The new official Raven Music player!!

Veiledeyes was forming scenarios in her head, the next few moments enfolding quickly. She could see Ravenpaw giggling, eyes aglow as she questioned about how the mentor was supposed to make the decisions. And the mentor herself would stutter, trying to distract her apprentice while she did eenie-miny-mo in her head. As soon as the queen's favorite had been picked...
"I've always wanted to learn how to hunt."
Oh? The ashen she-cat's eyes widened. She had been wrong! Through Ravenpaw's catching blue eyes were glowing, her apprentice's seemed to have accepted that.
"W-well," Another small truth, stuttering. "...Let's get started, then!" Veiledeyes finished firmly, pushing aside any surprise or nervousness. They were false, not essential...and not desired. Ravenpaw summed it up with her energized prancing, appearing as if she couldn't wait a moment longer. A grin spread over her muzzle, and the she-cat swiveled one paw towards the territory.
"C'mon Ravenpaw!" Veiledeyes mewed over her shoulder towards her ebony apprentice, before taking long strides out of the camp.

Thunderpaw
ooc://Sorry I poofed, I was ill for the past week or so. But I'm okay now.//
Indigokit's tail drooped suddenly. ''Xyriscalyx.. you promised we'd play after your nap.'' She said, with her eyes sparking in sadness. Her ears were blown back and she was shrinking a bit to the ground. She sniffed before turning around sadly, dragging her little fluffy tail along behind her. All in all, Indigokit did look mighty cute for being in such a sad postion. She looked over to Dawnkit. ''Let's go play with some other cat. Maybe when your Daddy get's back he'll let us play with him.'' She said louder before plopping herself down outside the nursery.
Thunderpaw nodded, ''Of course Wildstar, if you could point me towards the Medicine Cat Den? Or where the herbs are stored?'' He asked politely, still not even getting his tour just about yet. His emerald eyes scanned the camp, either Feathersky was being crowed enough that he couldn't see her, or that she was in the Den already, ''Uh... Not to sound mouse-brained, but where is Feathersky?'' He asked still looking around.
Loyal. Brave. Smart [/size]

ooc// Yeah, I poofed, too. Internet's been down.
Feathersky stirred long enough to see the numerous amounts of cats crowded around her. "Er, I'm famous now, aren't I?" she murmured weakly, a small shred of a smile on her face. Her thoughts jumped back to the battle with the fox. She couldn't really blame Xyriscalyx and Tarwhisker for leaving her all alone. "D-Did Xyriscalyx and Tarwhisker make it back safely?," that was all she could manage before she passed out again.

//BiC: Ash, uhm, sorry to burst your bubble, but Ironpaw/Physco left a while ago. I'm guessing that he was a bit overwhelmed of being one half of the guys on this site. So yeah, Ironpaw is not here.\\
Dawnkit looked glumly up at Xyriscalyx. "Way to ruin our fun..."She followed Indigokit with a sigh. All they wanted to do was have some fun. She scampered ahead a little and pushed her way into the Nursery. "MOM!!! Xyriscalyx," she stumbled a few times on the name, "is no fun!!!!!"
Dawnkit huffed and plopped down onto the ground. "Nothing's very fun unless Daddy is around." She murmured and stared out of the den, to Indigokit, who was trudging towards the den.

Veiledeyes saw her apprentice's tail, a proud banner, before Ravenpaw's scent, or the mouse's hit her. Which was pretty sad, because the warrior admitted having a better sense of smell then eyesight (despite huge eyes and a puny nose). Sticking her slim head out, the ashen she-cat finally got about to sniffing with her rust-tinged nose. And immediately began to grin as the aroma of Ravenpaw's catch hit her nose.
With the fading light and the huge smile, she must have appeared as some emaciated version of a Cheshire Cat when Ravenpaw came into camp.
"Great, you caught something! Don't bother tossing it on the pile, you've earned that meal." Veiledeyes meowed, giving her apprentice a congratulatory flick on the ear with her tail. And then the warrior bounded across the JaggedClan Camp in a few nimble strides, skidding to a rest next to the Fresh-Kill pile.
Without really bothering to look, Veiledeyes picked a small vole from the pile- caught today was the best she could think of- and settled on the rocky ground. The first bite was aloof. The second eager. The third was barely chewed.

And if our Final Day has come, Ravenpaw was burning with a fierce pride. She was so happy that she had caught something, and that she was actually aloud to eat it. The ebony apprentice, clutching the mouse between her jaws like it was her own kit, trotted over to see if she could find one of her friends. It would be great if she could eat with her best friend, Fernpaw, but she was usually to wrapped up in medicine cat duties.
Okay, so that was out. She trotted away again. Spotting a neat stone like rock jutting out of the dusty grey ground, Ravenpaw settled herself down next to it, and began to eat her mouse. Wow. Today had been so fun, and so interesting, and she had caught her first prey!!! She was so happy with herself as she munched on her mouse. Then lets pretend to carry on!
