Mosspaw turned when he heard his name, the broad shouldered, thick-furred silver tom quickly swept towards the two older cats, fighting the temptation to playfully bound towards them. He simply gave the warriors a mischevious glance with his green eyes and lifted his chin proudly.

Raindance flicked her tail in acknowledgement to her leader. "Yes, Moonstar. I'll be on my way." She spun around, about to bound over to Mosspaw, and was surprised to see that he had padded up to them during their discussion. "Oh, hello, Mosspaw!" Raindance mewed in surprise, "I'm assuming you've heard what Moonstar said? We're going out to collect herbs, since Nightstream seems to be running low." She then glanced at her leader. "We'll be back before sundown" she mewed, dipping her head and padding away from the entrance to the leaders' den. She then flicked her tail for Mosspaw to follow, and headed out of the cave.
ooc::[I'm taking this to the territory board since we're leaving the camp. Meet me there, sapphirefur! :3]

Moonstar had no need to be worried about the glint in Mosspaw's eyes, she had seen it before, and great good had always followed. She was proud of the apprentice, but he was not ready to become a warrior yet. He still had to work on his fighting moves, and he urgently needed more experience in leaf-bare up in the cold and bleak surroundings of the snow-capped mountain.

Trembling, Raindance limped back into the cave that served as clan camp. It was warmer and darker in here, and the comforting smell of damp moss and cool stone overtook her and filled her with relief. She ran over to the fresh kill pile, setting down the frozen rabbit gingerly to thaw, before settling down several fox-lengths away and giving herself a good cleaning with her tongue. When her trembling died down and she was warm and comfortable again, she stood up, padding over to Moonstar. "Has Mosspaw returned with the herbs yet?" she mewed. She had not seen so much as a glimpse of the young tom in the cave yet, and this worried her. He's got to be back soon, she thought determendly. Still, she was checking with Moonstar to see if he had returned and left or something of the sort.

Moonstar waved her tail nervously. "I haven't seen him come back in. If he doesn't come back before sundown, I will send a patrol to find him. These are dangerous times, Raindance," she mewed softly, her silver ears twitching. Glancing towards the fresh kill pile, her heart lurched as she saw how small it was. Moonstar looked towards Raindance, but decided she had been out long enough. Musing, she decided eventually that she would lead a patrol herself, then teach Mosspaw more fighting moves.

Ghoststorm padded quietly into camp, a somewhat stiff falcon clutched between his teeth. it had taken him quite a while, waiting silently and trusting his pale silver-tabby coat to keep him hidden, but he had caught one and he hoped it would feed at least some of the hungry mouths of his Clan. Spitting out a few feathers, the large tom dropped the fresh-kill in the pile, alongside a plump rabbit, and gave his wind-ruffled chest fur a few brisk licks.
Piercing yellow eyes scanned their cave-camp and snagged on his leader, Moonstar, talking worriedly to Raindance, another warrior. He trotted over and waited for a suitable place to speak. "Is everything okay, Moonstar? I can go hunting again if the fresh-kill pile is not big enough." He meowed with concern, Ghoststorm was a little weary but he would push it down and hunt until he dropped if he had to.

Mosspaw raced, shivering slightly back to camp, he forced himself to stop and lay the catmint and marigold at his leaders feet. "Should I take this to the m-medicine cat, Moonstar?" He asked, teeth chattering wildly.

At the sight of a shivering Mosspaw, Raindance darted over, worry clutching her belly. His teeth were chattering, fur dripping. I should have never sent him back alone! Raindance thought desperatley, piercing eyes burning into the apprentice's fur with worry. "Are you alright?" she asked urgently, "You really should see Nightstream about this!" Her tail twitched in anxiousness as she glanced over at Moonstar to see if she had anything to say. Besides, now that the apprentice was back in the camp with his mentor, she coudln't order him around. He had to do as his mentor instructed.
[[ooc;;SO sorry for the Ashpaw! I had been RPing on different boards as of before xD]]

Moonstar turned her piercing gaze towards Ghoststorm, and meowed, "Thank you, but I shall lead the patrol myself when everything else is finished with." She then lent close to Mosspaw, and purred gently, "Yes. Then get yourself inside, you look like you're freezing your tail off!"

"Could I come? I'm still fresh, or at least I am compared to those two." He meowed lightly, flicking his tail in the direction of the exhasted apprentice and the worried warrior beside them. A patrol with Moonstar would be interesting, and he wanted to give Raindance and the other warriors a chance to rest. They'd been out in the cold far to long already.
Sorry, I'm a little confused. Is it Mosspaw or Ashpaw? Or are there two of them?

Mosspaw nodded gratefully, teeth chattering, and hurried into the clan cave, bundling himself into the darkest corner, a sopping ball of fur. He shut his eyes tight, trying to pretend he wasn't cold, imagining the warm sun, though he hadn't encountered much in his life, on his back. Gentle breeze ruffling his fur...
