"Night, Bonekit." Askpaw replied, somewhat sadly, he padded silently over to the apprentice's den, laying down inside, he stared at the darkness enfolding, wondering what would be hapening in generations. For all he knew, the cats xould be long gone by then.

Pepperpaw stared in shock as Ashpaw ignored her invitation to eat together and padded into the apprentice's den. Even her own sister would not have rejected that invitation, and they hated each-other! Hissing quietly, she grouchily picked up a mouse and plopped down, gnawing on it furiously, not caring that she was showing her anger. Today had been a horrible day and she wasn't afraid to announce it! She was in a foul mood, and was ripping the mouse to shreds, mangling its body in the process so that it didn't even look like a creature, more like a small mass of fur, blood, and bones.
Wildstar purrred. "I'm glad you'll take the responsibity," she mewed kindly, "We'll make you the mentor tomorrow morning, once everyone's rested. Now, you must be tired, go get yourself something to eat and then head for the warrior's den. It's been a long day," she mewed, before standing up and padding into her own den. She then began to clean her fur as she thought about the next day's possible events. After Yewstorm was made deputy, she'd have her send out a small hunting patrol. She had seen that the pile was getting eerily small, though the falcon should last them a few days. She then curled her legs underneath her body before drifiting off to sleep.

Nodding happily, Stormcloud padded away towards the warriors den. He curled up in his usual spot and felt the weight of sleep slowly push his eyelids close. Stormcloud dreamed of himself training little cats that grew into fabulous warriors all night long.

[[ooc;; hey, no problem sapphirefur :3 It makes for an interesting twist]]
Wildstar awoke to the dull light seeping into her den. Sitting up and giving an immense yawn, she let her eyes adjust to the light. Today was the day that she would have three very happy cats in her clan. Giving her fur a few pointless licks that knocked a few twigs and pebbles out of it, she stood up and padded out of her den. From what she could see, her clan had not awoken yet and the fresh kill pile was still small. She took a quick walk around the camp, checking in all the dens to make sure the cats were safe inside before paddding to the high rock to await the awakening cats that she loved so dearly.

Stormcloud uncurled slowly, giving a huge yawn. Then he remembered what today was and practically bolted out of the den with an only-slightly-stifled yowl of excitement. He was getting an apprentice today. Resisting the temptation to rush into the nursery and wake Bonekit, he scampered over to Wildstar with a glance at the fresh-kill pile. "Shall I go hunting until the others wake up?" He offered gleely, paws pricking with anticipation.

Wildstar gave a purr of amusement, remembereing her first apprentice before she became leader, and almost felt as excited as he was. "You may go hunting, Stormcloud. But don't wake the others up, I think it's best for them to wake up on their own accord. We want every cat well-rested for the day," she mewed kindly. It was understandable that he was bursting with this much excitement. Most cats did, and he had only just become a warrior a few moons ago, so all the excited emotions of apprentices hadn't worn off. She had a feeling that her's never would, and she gave him an encouraging and excited gaze from where she sat on the high rock.

[[Hey, do you think Wildstar could have been Stormcloud's mentor when he was Stormpaw? Just for fun.]]
"Okay!" He agreed readily, ducking his head respectfully to excuse himself. The next moment he was bounding across camp as quietly as he could, scrambling over the loose stones and skidding on patches of pebbles now and then. He paused at the tresh-hold of camp, trying to collect himsefl slightly. The JaggedClan territory could be trecherous if you were too bouncy. A little calmer, he trotted out of camp and into the rest of JaggedClan, ears pricked for prey.

Wildstar purred in amusement as she watched the tom bound out of camp, then stop himself, deliberatley taking the spring out of his step and slowing his pace. It was a good call. She knew she wouldn't have made it. She then waited expectantly as her clan began waking up.
Bonekit was awake. She was wide awake, but she refused to leave the apprentice's den today unless someone made her. She had decided that when she woke up and realized where she was. So, she sat with her head in her paws, trying to match up the sounds outside the camp with mental images of what gestures might go with them. It was quite an entertaining game, she thought.
Pepperpaw awoke slowly, eyes flickering open. She then stretched, yawned, and padded outside, notcing the fresh-kill pile was running low. She also noticed, peeking into the warrior's den, that Stormcloud was gone, hunting, she assumed, and so, didn't bother to ask Wildstar if she could tag along. She knew that Stormcloud was a good hunter, and would come back with enough fresh kill to feed the clan for the rest of the day, so she stayed out of it, instead, deciding to check and see if any bedding needed to be changed. It was a tedious task, but she figured she should make herself useful, unlike her sister and Ashpaw, who were still sleeping. She hissed at the thought of them both, still bitter from the day before, and padded back into the apprentice's den to check the bedding.

Dragging the fresh-kill back to the pile, Stormcloud risked a peek in the nursery. "Bonekit? You up yet?" He called in quietly, unwilling to wake her if she wasn't. Short but I have nothing else to say. It's just to let you know that Stormcloud is back in camp.

[[ooc;;Alright, sorry for the lag. Waiting for Yewstorm so I can make her deputy ^^]]
Bonekit looked up in surprise at Stormcloud's question. Why would a warrior wonder if a kit was awake yet? "Yesss..." she said slowly, "But I've decided not to come out today. I'm too humiliated," she then waited for a response. He would probably tell her to come out and make herself useful around camp.

Stormcloud opened his mouth to reply but snapped it shut, unwilling to give away the surprise. He simply twitched his whiskers in amusement, his tail flicking back and forth happily. "Well, you may change your mind later. You never know what might happen." He meowed mysteriously, backing out again.

Ashpaw emerged tiredly from the apprentice den, stifling a yawn, he shook his head, waking himself up, padding over to Wildstar he asked. "Can I go hunting, Wildstar?"

Yewstorm woke up with a jolt. For a few seconds the she-cat was caught in the stage that is between waking and sleeping, drowsily watching the sunlight as it broke through the roof of the warrior den. Looking around her the warrior expected to see Stormcloud or one of the other warriors, but did not. Realizing how late she had slept in, Yewstorm quickly rose, unsheathed claws tearing at the den's padding. Quickly running outside, Yewstorm breathed a sigh of relief as she saw nobody seemed to have noticed her absence. She was just about to go on a hunting patrol when the she-act noticed Wildstar looking expectantly at her clan. Understanding something important was about to happen, Yewstorm sat down and began to lick her matted fur, smoothing down the ivory and brown stands that shot up.

Bonekit wondered what that was supposed to mean. You never knew what could happen on any given day! The way she saw it, for all you knew, the day was a blank slate. By the end of it, you could be in StarClan. Maybe it had something to do with the prophecy, she thought suddenly. Did he know more than he let on? She shifted in place, thinking about what might happen if she missed something about the prophecy. No, she reminded herself. The prophecy was SandClan's problem, not JaggedClan's. But then why did they send a dream to Yewstorm? Maybe this was the kind of mistake StarClan would make, she realized, that her and Adderpaw had been talking about. Sending the wrong dreams to the wrong cat. She hoped it was. She didn't want JaggedClan to be involved in anything "bold and striking" that would bring "with it blood".
