[[ooc;;oop!! I totally forgot about that ^^;; Erhm...yes, they should be. Uhm...yes I'll change those posts. They'll name her some other time. Thanks for reminding me, Osaka!]]
"I...I had my kits but..." Dustwater trailed off. She couldn't answer to Ebonystar. It was too humiliating to admit that not only had she given birth to them on SnowClan territory, she had also left three of them to die in the snow, and pain in her eyes, she turned back to the tiny kit to continue cleaning it.
"Dustwater had our kits in the snow, alone. She could only bring back one...the other two have...have died," Needlegaze replied in a strangled voice. He avioided Ebonystar's gaze, afraid of what he might find there. Anger, perhaps, for losing two valuable members of the clan, or fury that the kits had not been born in the camp--where were they born, anyways? Needlegaze did not know. He'd have to ask Dustwater when she calmed down.

Skypaw's ears were pricked as she llistened intently at the entrance to the nursery. She then gave herself a shake, realising she was evesdropping, and turned around to pad back to the medicine cat den. just outside the entrance was her own den which she curled up in, mind now even more burdened by the sadness that filled the camp at the death of the other kits.

The ginger apprentice yawned widely, having enjoyed a nice, deep sleep. He hadn't been awoken by the wails of Dustwater but that wasn't unusual. Adderpaw could probably have slept next to a Thunderpath just fine. His sister was sleeping in her own nest so he decided he would hunt to pass the time. It wasn't like he was banned from camp or anything. Maybe he would even venture over to the Pine-Sand place - something about it seemed good this morning. He had no idea why though, perhaps it was because he had met a new SandClan cat last night.

Not caring that she was breaking the warrior code, Seapaw burst into the SandClan camp. Yowling, sopping wet, fur stained with blood, she raced around the woody camp, her wounded leg dragging behind her as she yowled. "THE PROPHECY! IT'S COME TRUE! A TRIBE OF CATS HAS ARRIVED FROM BEYOND THE SEA! WE'RE IN BATTLE ON OUR OWN TERRITORY! HELP! OH PLEASE, PINECLAN, HELP US FIGHT THEM OFF!" She recognized the friend she had met the night before, Adderpaw, who had just woken up. Dashing towards him, her eyes frantic, she mewed, "Tell your clan to help! Please! It's three against seven, and Shadowpaw is still missing!" her eyes welled with tears then, and she gave a frantic yowl that sent Needlegaze darting from Dustwater's side. Wiggling out of the nursery, he yowled, "SandClan is in BATTLE with a TRIBE?!" Surley, this couldn't be from the prhopehcy!

Sunpaw lifted her head, looking at Skypaw pleadingly. "Can I go and fight?" She scrambled up and sunk her claws into the ground to stop herself falling. "Please, please, please Skypaw?"

Adderpaw backed up with considerable haste as a cat stinking of SandClan and blood burst through wailing like a kit. He was scornful for a heartbeat and expected his fur to bristle as it usually would when dealing with another Clan. It didn't though, and he was quite confused until he realised that it was Seapaw from the Gathering last night who had entered his camp. What was more, the poor apprentice was soaked in water and blood and had a nasty-looking wound on her back leg. His eyes widened with shock and he felt a surprising amount of concern twist his belly. "Seapaw what -" He was cut off by yet more yowling. His mind spun in puzzlement at her words. A tribe of cats? Shadowpaw? Was Seapaw going insane? "Okay. Calm down! Calm DOWN!" He meowed desperately, getting annoyed despite the seriousness of the situation. "PineClan will help! I'll help! Just show us the way!" Adderpaw could already feel the excitement of a good battle tingling at his paws but also felt a strange but fierce anger towards these Tribe cats he hadn't even met. It's because they're trying to take over our land. He told himself, a little uncertain as to where this sudden rage had come from. What else would it be?

Seapaw gasped, catching her breath. "Thank you, Adderpaw!" she mewed, then turned to the wounded cat begging to accompany them, "Are you insane? I was a perfectly healthy cat and now I can hardly walk! Are you the one Adderpaw saved from the bear? If you are, you don't stand a chance against these cats! They'll rip you to shreds in a heartbeat! They nearly drowned me! No time for chit-chat, we've gotta go--we've gotta go now!" She then darted back toward SandClan, willing the other cats to follow suit.
Needlegaze realized the seriousness of the situation, and yowled, "I'll get SnowClan to help!" before darting over to the mountainside border. He would have to go fast, if it was as bad as Seapaw made it out to be, they'd be needing all the help they could get--and quickly.

Sunpaw watched after them sadly, feeling useless for the fact that she could even go with her clan to help another. Suddenlt she felt angry at herself, why did she have to be so clumsy? Why did the bear have to attack her? Before long, the young cat was fuming.

Adderpaw hissed in disbelief as Sunpaw asked to go but her words reminded him of something, or rather, someone. As much as he hated to bring Skypaw closer to danger, they might need her healing skills. "I'm coming Seapaw! One second!" He called after her, jabbing a claw into Skypaw's sleeping side. "Wake up! We need you!"
Skypaw was jerked awake by a pain in her side. The worry in her brother's eyes made her spring out of her nest, fur on end. "What is it? Who's hurt?"
"Everyone in SandClan, by the sound of it! Including Seapaw, who can barely walk! Come on!" Yelped Adderpaw over his shoulder, already disapearing out of camp after the SandClan she-cat.
"But we're confined -- " She paused, hearing the stupidity of her own words. There were cats in danger, who cared about punishments? They should ask Ebonystar but he wasn't here right now and it seemed urgent. Shrugging of her doubts, Skypaw bounded after her brother and the SandClan cat he was following, mentally going through all the herbs she could use in her head.

Cursing Skypaw and Adderpaw for not waiting for his orders, Ebonystar flicked his tail at his cats. "Hummingsky, Eaglefeather, go help them. I'll stay here to guard the camp." Waiting for two his warriors to set out, the tom recalled Seapaw's strange words. The prophecy? If that was so, then it would be best to take care of this tribe as quickly as possible, or it really would bring death. Even though it looked like SandClan's problem, PineClan was close to the sea and had the best prey, it was only logical for these cats to move on to their territory after defeating SandClan.

"Ebonystar." Sunpaw paused. "Could I help? I don't think my wound will open, and I can stand..." She took a step forwards, and, despite her clumsiness, stayed up firm. Hoping that by helping SandClan she wouldn't feel so useless.

The tom shook his head, tail flicking towards the nursery. "Even I can't protect the camp against an invasion with only Dustwater, if she recovers." Ebonystar mewed calmly. Though, JaggedClan was too far off to want to launch a full-scale attack, and SnowClan would probably be more preoccupied with fighting the new tribe. "You can leave when Needlegaze returns. Hopefully, he won't be stupid enough to continue to SandClan without my permission." The leader mewed, some contempt escaping into his voice. His cats were becoming more restless, and seemed to forget that it was their leader they should act upon, not their adrenaline. At least Sunpaw had the loyalty to ask before taking off, something Needlegaze, Skypaw and Adderpaw seemed to lack.

Sunpaw nodded eagerly, sinking her claws into the ground at kneading at anything beneath her paws. She paced silently, sinking her claws into the ground to make sure she stood firm and showed no sign of weakness.

Eaglefeather nodded solemnly, and raced after Adderpaw and Skypaw. A prick of annoyance came into her mind as she realised she was not going to be fighting. But she knew she must do the best for her Clan. And at the moment, she had to go and bring the two apprentices back.

Needlegaze crashed back into camp, his chest heaving. Out of breath and still slightly dizzied from the sudden change in altitude, he stumbled over to Ebonystar. "SnowClan is on their way to SandClan as we speak," he reported in a monotone, "If it's allright, I'll accompany them, and assist in the fighting," he decided to leave out the part about his kits being born in SnowClan territory. The clans were going through enough at the moment to start worrying about his kits. His instinct screamed that his kits were more important than a stupid 'prophecy' but with the knowledge that one's clan comes first, Needlegaze tried to force the thought out of his mind. He held himself high as usual, but his eyes were weary and damp. What a horrible day this was turning out to be...
