"We might, Felicia." Tarsen replied at last. "But we might not." He looked directly in her lime green eyes. Felicia tore her gaze away from his. "I understand." She mewed, then glanced at Tizzy, a smile playing across her melancholy face. "Look after my brother, he'll most probably get into some trouble." [Ok, yo. Lol, I thought Shadowpaw had appeared or something. ^^]

[[Hm. I hadn't meant to put that in yet. She's not carrying kits now, but in the books they call ex-moms queens too...don't they? I know she's gonna die eventually so I thought she'd leave a little something behind, y'know?]]
Swallow felt the cats slipping away from her, like a slippery fish from her paws. She had to go in for the kill now or they'd be lost forever. Padding up confidently she placed herslef beside the two siblings. Then, pulling all the concern she could into her voice, she began. "Look. Have you ever been to sea? I have, it's nice enough for the first few days but if you don't like restriction how can you possibly want to spend countless moons on a tiny boat?!? You may not even reach land in your life time. You could be trapped on this little wooden thing for the rest of your lives, which could be about ten seconds if you can't fish or run into some kind of ocean beast. Do you honestly think you've done everything there is to do on land? It's not possible to achieve that in one lifetime, or nine!" She paused here to take a deep breath before continuing ernestly, "Travelling with you lot has made me remember my kithood when I used to live in a Clan. In a Clan, you always feel protected and you have something to defend. Clans look out for each other and try and help. By ourselves we can't do anything really, especially stuck out at sea, but when we join together we can be great!" Swallow finished her the second installment of her piece with great gusto, surprising herself at geniune some of it had been. Coming to the Town with so many other cats had stirred distant memories of her first moons of life, not that she missed it at all, and it did take more than one can to be truly great. And truly powerful. She needed an army. Time for the death-bite. Putting as much feeling as she could muster into her words, the she-cat faced them all and made her proposal. "We should join together like that. We should form a Clan. We should be great!"

"I'm going." Tarsen said firmly. "To sea." Felicia gazed at Swallow. "You mean... make a new... clan?" She asked gingerly. This was what she needed, the she-cat decided. A clan, a clan to hunt for, to fight for, to care for. She hoped fiercly that Swallow was doing what she thought she was.

Firing a glare at Tarsen for his determined stupidity Swallow meowed softly, "Fine, I see how it is. I come here in the cold and help you find your sister just because I care and you just turn and run away at the first oppurtunity you get. Perhaps Clan life is not for you after all; Clan cats are loyal and brave." She took a deep breath to keep from springing at him, claws unsheathed, and turned instead to his sister, meowing warmly, " Yes. I propose that we cats form a new Clan, based in the no-lands beside the other Clans. " She turned to the freak-cat and continued, "I know what it is like to belong to a Clan, and then be chased out -" This was not strictly true as she ahd left of her own accord but they needn't know "- and I personally would give anything to have another chance at Clan life. It will be an adventure you wil never forget. I promise you that." The black and white she-cat turned so she was facing Winter, Fier Neve and Dusk too. "Right now, I am the only cat in this new Clan. How many of you will have the courage to join me?"

Tizzy took a defiant step back to stand with Tarsen. If he could be strong, even against this cat's great powers of convincement, well, so could she. She stood tall next to tarsen, away from the tuxedo she-cat to show that she would not be joining this clan. She would be traveling with Tarsen. "I'm sorry, Swallow. I'm going with Tarsen, out to sea. But...I hope your dream makes you happy. And I wish you the best of luck in constructing the life which you have always wanted to lead...in a clan...in a group," she mewed defiantly. Besides, if this was so important to Swallow, she could do without two cats. There were others, and besides, she couldn't care for Tizzy that much, with the looks she had been getting from Swallow.
A sinking feeling in her stomach--whether it was from the extra sudden weight or the fact that she felt like her whole life was one big facade, Dustwater stepped forward. "I'm with you," she mewed to her friend. Of course she was with her! She shot the others a glare that said 'if you don't say you're with your, you're as good as crowfood'. She hoped it wouldn't scare them away. She then glanced at her friend and suddenly felt another twist in her belly. This time it felt like something was moving. All she had eaten was a mouse, and it was perfectly fresh, it couldn't be anything she had eaten. But what if it was--she closed her eyes. When she opened them again, she was staring at Swallow, pain in her face. "I'm with you but I...I have to go...hunting," Swallow knew what this meant, Dustwater had explained the secret meaning of 'hunting' to her time and time again. This meant she was going on a 'hunting trip' which was really going back to PineClan. In other words, she woudln't be back for a few days. "I'll be back...soon. Really, I will." She then leaned in and murmured, "I'll explain when I get back, but right now, I need to talk to Needlegaze," giving her friend a pained look, she loped off into the distance, wincing at the odd feeling in her belly. It was making it hard to run and this time, she was sure she felt movement.

Swallow gave a hard, steely sort of purr as Dusk padded over to her side. There was one cat she could rely on to be strong. Or perhaps not. Pain suddenly twisted Dusk's features and Swallow felt a rare flicker of concern. This she-cat was one of the few she was actually mildly attatched to. She couldn't be seriously sick, could she? Swallow nodded her consent and watched as Dusk loped away, her stride slightly lop-sided. What could be the matter?
The tuxedo she-cat turned her attention back to Tizzy, making one last grab for the strong-willed, although ugly, cat. "You usd to live with SandClan, didn't you? I thought you of all cats would understand the importance of having a Clan. You could always go to sea afterwards, if you changed your minds. " She meowed imploringly, fearing the cat was already beyond her reach.

Closing her eyes, Tizzy shook her head furiously. "No, I did not live with SandClan! I lived in SandClan territory! Never even set foot in the camp! And I'm sorry, but I'm going with Tarsen," she mewed, standing tall as usual, and watching as the strange, suspicous Dusk loped away. Did her belly look swollen, or was it just Tizzy? She couldn't guess, and instead, turned her attention back to Swallow, her gaze flickering over to Tarsen every few seconds.

Swallow bit back a snarl, aware that if she attacked these cats she would loose the trust of the others. Especially the one that was Tarsen's sister. Swallowing a hiss, the she-cat simply turned away, "Very well. go get yourselves killed. Let no cat say I didn't warn you." To the rest of the cats there she cocked her head to one side, letting them no her invitation still stood to them. She honestly didn't care what Tizzy and Tarsen did now; the only thing Swallow hoped was that they did drown at sea.

Felicia glanced at Tarsen, ten padded over to were Swallow was standing, silently, she edged along next to the new-clan-to-be. Her eyes were melancholy and apologetic, but a fire burnt in them, a determined ember that would grow as her hopes.

Tizzy didn't miss the anger and hostility in Swallow's voice. What was this cat's problem? Then again, she was glad that the she-cat wasn't trying to convince Tarsen and her to Join her in her quest to form a clan any more. Leaning over, she whispered in Tarsen's ear. "Let's get out of here and head to the no-lands. We can stay the night, and tomorrow morning we'll head for the sea." She cast a worried glance at the dark sky. It was getting late, and she hoped to get up early tomorrow morning to get an early start on the way to the sea.

"One warrior already! Welcome to the Clan, Felicia." Meowed Swallow, genuinely happy for once. Of course, normally she wouldn't show her happieness but this was all part of the act. She glanced over at Fier Neve, "Will we be getting a medicine cat?"

Tarsen nodded silently. "Lets hurry." He choked in a strangled whisper. With that, the tortoiseshell bounded away, towards the No-Lands once more. Felicia nodded silently. "I shall serve with utmost loyalty, Swallow." She began placidly, yet mournfully. "But what shall this new clan be called?"

Swallow looked at her new warrior in surprise. She hadn't thought of that. "It will need to be something striking that will make them fear us, especially as we've hardly any cats right now." She thought hard, something like WaspClan, or SharpClan? Perhaps they would have better ideas.

"DarkClan?" Felicia suggested. "LightningClan, StormClan, ClawClan, FangClan, CorpseClan, NightClan?" The she-cat suggested one more, referring to Swallow's name. "BirdClan?"

Winter nodded happily at Swallow. "I'd love to join!" The energetic tom still hadn't lost his gayness, even when he saw Swallow's wrath, or Dusk run off to go "hunting". Turning back to Tizzy and Tarsen, the white cat actually had some sadness in his eyes. "Won't you join us? It'll be more fun then being out at sea.." Winter flicked his tail, oblivious of the heavy air around them. "We could hunt together in the clan, and be friends!" The tom's tone was excited, his voice laced with unexplained happiness, and genuine wanting for Tizzy and Tarsen to stay.
Fier Neve nodded towards Swallow. He may have a dislike for clan life, but he knew that without someone to support him, he would die out in the no-lands, with his poor hunting techniques and foreign fighting style. But it was the Dusk-cat that Fier Neve showed some interest in now, her strange smell had masked something that was unearthed before she left - the smell of pregnancy. The other cats may have missed it, especially the stupid white-furred one, but Fier Neve was a medicine cat, and a talented one, he hoped, so the orange tom had understood the situation.
