The wind was a westerly one, she decided. Although it was harsh, it was no match for the thick colourless hairs adorning the pelt of one particular learner sow who was currently sat next to a fast-flowing stream that ran from the cat-land into her own Tribe's territory. The bright shape of a fish darted past, just under the surface of the water, but the bear did not reach out a paw to swipe it from it's wet home, although she probably could have. Instead she wondered how it felt, she had had a little paddle about the stream from time to time and put her head under too, more out of curiosity than actual fishing, but she did't live under water. She didn't have scales, she couldn't breath water and she wasn't as small as that fish so it's life and viewpoint was still a subject of intrest for her. What did it feel like? What did it think like? Did it have a Tribe with Elders and Alphas too? If so, how many cousins or sisters or children had it lost to her own Tribe's teeth and claws? There was no way to know, and that was why she liked it. Swift Magic could imagine.

Summer Cloud could smell the scent of other bears as she made her way toward the stream. Her belly shook slightly as she got closer to the water. She hadn't fished in so long. She stared down at the water, waiting to find a fish and only seeing her reflection. She sighed and looked back toward the cave, what if she embarrassed herself?
Her gaze flickered around the stream and the shine of fish scales caught her sight. She waded into the water, until past her paws. She watched as the fish came closer, dipping her muzzle into the water she clamped her mouth shut, feeling the fish's scales along her tongue.
Walking backward, she lifted her head up, the dead fish limp in her mouth. She placed it down on the ground and took large bite and gulps of the fish. Licking the blood off of her muzzle as she finished eating.
