Storm Qaniit is a well-kept bear. She is graceful and lean. Her fur is thick, shaggy, and yellowed in age. The fur around her face is thinning, making it seem dark and blotchy. Her vision certainly is not as good as it used to be--in fact, she's almost blind. Her left eye does not see well, and her right is a murky black; it can no longer see.

Storm Qaniit is a peaceful bear. Her own name, Qaniit, means falling snow. She was a fiece fighter when young, but now, her body is old, and tired, so she spends her days pondering the workings of the Lyse tribe with her fellow elders. She has a creative nature of thinking, and her ideas are not often accepted by those around her, but her personality is overall loveable and kind. Never one to jump to conclusions or judge any species, she spends a lot of time pondering things, and, while in her younger years, she loved nothing more than a fierce fight, she'll now happily ponder over various topics for hours on end.

As a young bear, Storm Qaniit always loved to fight. Though she was a sow, and could only be a hunter when she grew up, she always watched the boars longingly, wishing to join them in their rough-housing, and often did. Though these actions were frowned upon by her elders, she stood strong, and, when she did become a hunter, continued to participate in things that only the fighters would normally do. After a life of struggle to become a fighter, and even going blind in one eye in a fierce battle, she retired to take the position of an elder. Even today, she fights for the rights of sows in the tribe.

Storm Qaniit Bjorn had but one cub, a black bear boar, now named Qaniit Tartok Bjorn. He is a fighter. Storm Qaniit's mate, a black bear, dissapeared one winter after a horrible storm during which he had gone out, never to be seen again.
