Appearance:
This dog is big. There are no two ways about it. His build is large and powerful but he is not hulking. Hulking is too coarse a word for the wild and sleek sense of regal magnificence you get from Polar. He has broad shoulder and strong legs, perfect for running across the endless stretches of wilderness that are frequent in this land. He has as much strength and stamina as all of the dogs in his breed, perhaps more than most due to his old position. His coat is also like those of his kind - a white base splashed with black over the back as though the Maker had been in a modern-art kind of mood. This ebony color reaches up to coat the back of his ears and head before dripping over onto his face where it slowly melts back into white, save for two circular patches of soot over the eyes. His nose is the same solid jet-black color, as is the top half of his tail.Personality:
Polar's eyes are to most his best feature. They are light blue, flecked with minuscule speckles of white and seem to whirl with all emotions under the moon. It is as if he's somehow caught a full, swirling snowstorm in two identical orbs. The said snowstorm comes to an abrupt halt in the center of his eyes where an impenetrably black pupil takes over. Unfortunately these marvelous eyes are now often clouded with a deep sadness or longing for his lost pack and family.
This dog used to run, free as the wind, with his beloved pack, and was utterly devoted to being the best Alpha male to them that he could. Back then he was fierce, loyal, proud and strong-willed. He knew he was born to lead his pack and did so to the best of his ability - and enjoyed it. He lived to protect, and still does, only he's not sure what of yet. Polar was strict with his pack, and had very high expectations of them all, but he was not above having a mock-fight with his pups or lending his shoulder for an elderly dog to lean on. The Alpha hardly ever let his temper get the better of him, although he does get angry quite easily. The only time he really became ferocious was when something threatened the pack. He had principles, inner-strength and a clear, vibrant purpose.History:
Now he is lost.
Polar will never forget his pack, as he is not a dumb dog who can be made to forget all that is dear to him in a matter of moons, but he is, as always, a survivor and so he has done his best to adjust. Polar is quite a deep dog, although he never really realized until all that he loved was ripped away, and he still has a lonely, hopeful howl now and then. He has never gotten a reply, but he never expected one. He is a realist and soon realized that he would have to adjust to city life. Polar is slowly coming back from being little more than a shadow of his previous dominant self. He still likes being in charge. He is still an excellent fighter. One day he will be every bit as loyal, fierce and strong as he was, but he has yet to find what he misses the most. A real purpose. Once he has found that, and not before, can he be the real Polar once more.
Polar used to be part of a husky pack, leading it with his alpha female, Rush, but tragedy struck one day and he was seperated from them in a snowstorm. The poor dog has never seen his pack since. Now he pals about with Haunt, Lummi and Bone. A new pack...of sorts.Kin:

I think Rogue is right....but it really it should be 'dog' instead of tomcat. ^^ Oh, and the names suck. I know that. Basically, the first born has to be named with the same-gender parent's suffix. And the prefixes are what they are mostly called by. They get the suffix when they stop being pups. I hope no-one minds that I made those traditions up...
