Island of Dreams
Moonlight's Mystery
Lions, tigers, cheetahs, and panthers. Oh my! These big cats have been living with each other for generations on four abandoned islands just off the coast of Africa. Twolegs used to live there, but have since left to live elsewhere. Stardust Island, in the exact middle, is the neutral island where Gatherings are held and healers and leaders communicate with Starclan throught the Sun Stone.
One day, a young lion apprentice named Smokepaw was exploring and found a secret bridge over to the mainland. He stumbled upon a Pack of rogue dogs who call themselves Deathpack. Smokepaw mistakenly tells them about the Clans and the dogs have an idea. Since all is peaceful, Deathpack could possibly take over the islands and wipe out the big cats. They let the poor lion go and told him not to alert the Clans to the dogs' presence. Deathpack secretly followed Smokepaw back to the bridge so they knew how to get to the islands.
Meanwhile, Lionclan was searching franticly for the lost lion. During the search, the healer of Lionclan recives an alarming prophecy:
All is peaceful now,
but you must expect the unexpected.
The divide must unite,
to defeat the terrible danger that approaches.
