so i've just created a fairly pwnsome kitter named Bitterpaw, and i'm looking for someone to play her sister, Deerpaw..
Cat Name. Bitterpaw
Kin Type. Sister
Needed For. Just 'cause.
Specifications. I don't really have a preference, I'd just like Deerpaw to be not as betchy as her sister maybe, and a lot more loyal to PineClan.
Other Info. The two are -ultra super tight-. Basically they raised one another, without a lot of help from their father or mother.. The two have a very strong connection, and Deerpaw is pretty much the only reason Bitterpaw sticks around PineClan.
I'D LIKE A. NEW CHAR PRTYPLEEZ.
[ M Y . C A T ]
Name: Bitterpaw
Clan: PineClan
Gender: She-cat
Status: Apprentice
Appearance:
Physically, Bitterpaw is fairly insubstantial. Although proportionately built and surprisingly graceful for an age usually dominated by awkwardness, Bitterpaw is a small cat. She's also dangerously skinny, a problem stemming from a simple unwillingness to eat. This makes her much frailer than her fellow apprentices, a fact she makes up for by acting especially sharp-tongued. Luckily her emaciated body is concealed by a coat of thick, voluminous fur. Bitterpaw is a calico, a coloration she heartily despises for its cuteness. Her base coat is a crisp, unblemished white, although periodically interrupted by splashes of black and tawny brown. But most understand that there isn't much that's cute about Bitterpaw besides her pelt, a reputation Bitterpaw tries her best to uphold by keeping a scowl permanently plastered on her face. In the same way, her large, hazel eyes are generally narrowed in irritation.
Personality:
Just as her name would suggest, Bitterpaw is, well, bitter. She hates living life as an apprentice, and being roped in by rules, she hates her own demeaning build, she finds herself constantly annoyed by anyone she even tries to talk to. She sees herself as better than everyone else, or at least, more sensible, and the actions of her fellow apprentices never fail to amaze her in their immaturity. Because of this, Bitterpaw chooses to keep to herself, unable to find a single cat whom she can have a decent conversation with. She often feels that because of her size and strength, the only way she can earn respect is through her sharpness of mind, and thus she is very snappy, cynical and arrogant. She despises not being in control of a situation, and doesn't care much for manners. Her faith in StarClan is weakening exponentially every day, and along with it her willingness to follow the Warrior Code--several times she has considered deserting her Clan for a life as a duty-free rogue, as her mother once did.
History:
Bitterpaw was born to an ex-rogue, Crow, and a PineClan warrior named Sleetfoot. Their affair was a scandalous one--Sleetfoot had met Crow, who kept herself free of any associations with the more malevolent rogue groups, by chance while on patrol, and the two continued to meet, quickly falling in love. Most of the Clan knew about Sleetfoot's violation of the warrior code and still did nothing to stop him. He was a young warrior, and Crow was several moons older than him--they believed the affair would be a quick one, and besides, Sleetfoot should learn his lesson. So everyone was shocked when one day Sleetfoot returned to camp with a very pregnant Crow in tow. Fortunately the PineClanners were quite open-minded and easily absorbed Crow into Clan life, although she always felt like something of an outsider, like someone who didn't belong. After bearing Sleetfoot's kits, Bitterpaw and her sister, Deerkit, Crow left, unable to grow as accustomed to Clan life as the Clan cats had become to her. Sleetfoot was distraught at first, but being young, he was quick to forget his old flame and began a new family. Bitterpaw and Deerpaw grew up much like orphans, with a father who wanted no reminder of his previous mate. The two remain very close to this day.
Kin:
Crow - Mother - Missing
Sleetfoot - Father - Alive & well
Deerpaw - Sister - Alive & well
