Tribalpaw was going quite a bad thing, sneaking out of camp. Her icy azure eyes caught sight of everything, including the apprentice leave camp. She followed him with excellent stealth, trained by merely watching the warriors and other apprentices. She used the foliage to conceal every inch of her raccoon pelt, which stuck out against the ivory snow. Her bushy tail was used to get rid of her paw prints as she followed the runaway apprentice's scent. Even though it would be against the code to sneak out, she would merely say she had been with a warrior that was out hunting or in a patrol.
Finally, she resorted to the trees. Because of her raccoon-like appearance, she could be easily mistaken for one. Not many of the clan know her so well, anyway. But of course.. there could be mistaking her for prey. Well, if they got close enough they would smell her scent and see the distinctive qualities of a feline than a raccoon.
Once she got up on a high, sturdy branch, she gazed down below with a hawk-like stare.
She looked at a bush that rustled, and stiffened, before seeing a warrior catching prey. He didn't seem to notice her, so she relaxed. She hopped silently from tree branch to tree branch, moving further ahead from the warrior and quickly, upon climbing down the tree, diving behind a fern. If there were such thing as a ninja cat, you could expect her to be an elite or a leader. She caught the scent of the apprentice she was following before, and followed it. She noticed he had made a wrong turn, right into part of PineClan she had never seen before.
She used the scent as a guide until she found the apprentice, who to her, looked confused. Not knowing what his intentions were, her lips pulled back, sharp teeth showing in a feral snarl, as if demanding him to speak his name or something like that, even though he was most likely bigger than her.
Eh, oh well. She turned around and padded away, dissapearing in the dense bushes. If he had not spotted her, that was good. If he did, oh well again.

A few hours had passed since the twolegs left her and the small animal finally whimpered in loneliness. Her big eyes opened and looked up at the dark, starry sky. She gazed up, before scrambling out of the blanket. her nose sniffed the air as she shrunk down at the ground. "What's my name?" she mumbled slowly. 'Luna, sit!', "Oh yeah, it's Luna! And where are my two brothers?" she gazed around and looked down at her paws. Standing up she sniffed the air. It was so dark and lonely for her. Her ears perked up slightly. She padded forward a bit, before shrinking back. was she really about to go into all that darkness? Her tail wagged behind her and she jumped forward, as if she were a cat springing on prey. "Something smells funny!" she mumbled and padded slowly through the darkness. Her tail stuck between her skinny legs. Her fur prickled with excitement.
"Where am I? Where are my pets?" she was referring to what cats called twolegs. She pushed her way through a bush and her stomach lurched. Last thing that she remembered was dangling in the air by her scruff and than being wrapped in a blanket and being settled on the dirt floor. She scented a few pine trees, "Those were in my backyard!" she yelped in slight excitement. Her paws crushed the thin pine needles beneath her and her tail swept the ones away behind her. A certain smell reached her nose. "Sassy!" She barked as loud as she could. Sassy was the cat that lived in the house where Luna once lived. She raced through bushes and ducked under low branches.
Her small paws soon gave out and she stopped in her tracks, panting for breath. Her tail wagged at what looked 100 Miles Per Hour. She needed a rest. She spun around once and settled down on a clump of pine needles. She heaved a large sigh and glanced up at the sky, 'Maybe when I wake up Sassy will be right there waiting for me, or maybe one of her cat cousins!' she thought slowly before closing her eyes and drifting into a slow sleep. Her flank moved slightly with her breaths and her paw twitched slightly. What would be waiting for her in the near future?

Runningspirit padded behind Needlegaze, dangling about a tail-length away as he observed the forest. The sun was lowering, and cast a neat look through the sparse pine trees. The pale tortoiseshell was about to comment on the view to the older warrior ahead of him, when he noticed the tom tense, and sniffing the air. He had caught a scent! Runningspirit froze at once, excluding his jaw, which opened to let in the scent.
Ignoring the overbearing pine smell, he swiftly discovered the prey in question. Mouse! By this time, his hunting partner was stalking forward, in an expert hunting crouch, silently across the needle-covered floor. Runningspirit was content to watch Needlegaze when he caught a scent of his own- another mouse.
Ears perking up as the smell entered his system, he inhaled once more, and pinpointed the location (to his left). Whirling around, he dropped into his own crouch, and stalked forward, making the most out of his short legs. Mouse will feel you... The old hunting instruction was always present in his mind, especially since he was a new warrior. Paws stepping lightly on the forest floor, he could suddenly see the mouse: grey fur, small feet, all that. Very cute...
Wanting to, but not daring so, shake his head to clear the thought. He had never been a good leaper (with his body), and had developed his own finishing move. Not original in design, but it was effective. Tensing his back muscles, he sped forward, half-sliding, half-dashing. In a few seconds the mouse was in his jaws, dead and limp. "Sorry, you'll be good use..." he meowed, wondering where mice went when they died.

Wolfpaw had been trudging along at a meandering pace, surprised to find himself not particularly worried about being in trouble when he returned to camp. Normally this was the sort of thing that would have him desperately scrambling for some hint at where to find PineClan camp, but the snow had a narcotic effect on him--he felt as though the gentle, floating nature of the delicate white flakes had in some way permeated his mind, to make him feel as light as careless as they were.
This feeling of peace and security was shattered, however, as a harsh snarl broke the silence as if it were glass. The thick fur on the scruff of Wolfpaw's neck and shoulders immediately bristled, and he whirled around, his heart beating thunderously in his ears and his orange-gold eyes wide with surprise. But his reflexes hadn't served him well enough--by the time he had turned around, whoever had emitted that snarl had disappeared. Mollified a bit by the apparent lack of immediate threat, Wolfpaw took a few tentative, shaky steps forward, inhaling through his nose. So he hadn't imagined it--there was a definite scent, fresh as his own, of another PineClan cat. Why exactly another PineClan cat would be snarling at him in that manner, Wolfpaw didn't know, but that cushiony, drugged sensation of the snow still had some hold over his senses, and so he decided--against his better judgment, a warrior might have said--to follow the tracks who-ever-it-was had left in the snow.
And so he dove into the underbrush, eager to find his "attacker" before they got too far away. Not far off, he spotted a bushy, striped tail whip around a curve, and he sped up, thrilled with the idea of a pursuit. "Wait! Wait a second!" he cried, slowing to a halt as he lost sight of the stripey cat.

Luna stirred in her sleep. Her mouth opened wide as she let out a yawn. She let out a groan as stood to her paws. She smelt cats! Maybe she was back home, there were always cats back at home. She ran as fast as she could, the pine needles sprayed behind her and she let out the loudest bark she could. Her tail hit the air as she sniffed around.
Her nose was sniffing the ground and she followed the scent of cats. Lifting her head as could see a few cat's right in view. They seemed to be catching something. She wanted to catch something, too! She jumped up and in front of the cats. Her tongue lolled out and her gaze went back and forth between the different cats. They had caught mice! She heard rustling behind her and watched as a squirrel darted past her. She ran forward and clamped it between her jaws, carrying it back she dropped it in front of the red-furred cat with the long, fluffy tail. She sat down next to the cat and wondered if the cat could understand her like Sassy did.
"Where am I? Do you know Sassy? Who are you?" Her bark was low, softer than a cat's meow. (If you didn't want her to find them, I will delete the post. )

♫ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> Needlegaze almost immediately caught a whiff of something else as Runningspirit caught a mouse, scraping some snow over it as the red-furred warrior had done moments ago. It was another cat, a scent different from the last one, and Needlegaze's broad ears twitched in irritation. Concentrating on the scents with immense intensity, he finally realized that they both belonged to apprentices, and let out a low growl.
Apprentices are nothing but trouble! he hissed internally, taking a small step forward.
"Who are you? Show yourselves!" the red warrior was so immersed in trying to figure out who the apprentices were that the last thing he was expecting was a dog to fly in front of him, chasing after a squirrel. Giving a startled and enraged yowl that made Needlegaze's fur prickle in immense irritation (he had, after all, just revealed emotion, and an especially weak one at that!) the prickly tom immediately dropped into a battle stance, hissing, fur on end as the dog rushed back to him, dropping a dead, mangled squirrel at his feat.
That's odd, he thought, as the dog slobbered in enthusiasm. His instinct went faster than his mind though, and before he knew it he was upon the young female pup, claws digging into her flesh.
"What are you doing here, mutt?" he yowled. With a grunt of effort as he tried to collapse the beagle, he added, "Runningspirit, help!" then grudgingly, "And if you apprentices are still around, go to camp for re-enforcements!"

{You mean Runningspirit, right?}
Luna let out a yelp as the tom scraped his claws against her back. She got to her hind paws and rolled over, squashing the cat. Her head cocked to the side and she glanced at the two cats, her sides heaving heavily. "My name is Luna." her barks were a whisper. "Where am I? My humans just left me here!" She sat down and looked at her fur, "I'm bleeding!" She let out a yelp and glared at the cat who had dug his claws into her. "Who are you?" she growled slightly, but her tail still wagged behind her.
Before she let him say anything she lifted her hind foot up and scratched behind her ear, her tongue lolling out as she finished scratching. She relaxed and stretched her paws out in front of her laying on the dirt ground she sighed. "So, where do you live? I wanna come with you!" Her bark was full of excitement.

Runningspirit was still carefully scraping dirt over his catch when Needlegaze started to yowl. Turning his head around to the red tom, he then started looking back and forth rather quickly. Apprentices? Hiding? Where? He was ultimately not concerned for an aggressive reason, unlike his hunting partner, and was more in a startled-curious mood. But then...his head stopped still, a former blur of his slim head almost visible in the air.
...A dog?! He hopped back as the tiny canine dropped a slobber-covered, dead squirrel. By his instinct, he leaned over and gave the deceased rodent a hard sniff, and recoiled. Dogs had such a harsh scent... "Runningspirit, help!"
Jumping at the yowl, and twirling in mid-air so he landed facing the "battle". Just in time, in fact, to see the puppy roll over and dislodge Needlegaze. Bounding forward, more concerned about checking to see if the dislodged tom was injured then fighting off the beagle. A cursory glance yielded no bones sticking out or blood coming from anywhere....he was good! With that, the pale tortoiseshell turned to the puppy...and it, no, she, started talking.
"So, where do you live? I wanna come with you!"
Runningspirit was more surprised he could understand the dog, much less what it was saying. For a moment, that is. Mind racing back, he remembered hearing the beagle babble on while he checked Needlegaze out. "...Luna!"
Okay, we'd start there.
"Luna?" His light, high meow was not tampered by the odd situation. "How did you come to get here? And...why the squirrel?" Could she understand him back? Hopefully...

Her tongue dripped with slobber and she stood up, she wasn't much bigger than the cats. She turned her head and tilted it to the side. Her ears parked up slightly as the cat called her name.
"My people came and dropped me here. They leave me alone." her voice went to a whimper and she looked down at her paws, her tail thumping the ground, "You like squirrel or no? Meat taste goos, me and brothers have to go hunt, I was very good at sniffing and tracking." Her nose hit the ground and she sniffed along the dirt. She darted and picked up her already dead squirrel.
"Whoops, someone already killed it." she barked, her droopy lips turning upside down into a grin and she let her tongue hang out.

On the other side of the Pineclan Territory, a small bush trembled, and a small puppy tumbled out. It wimpered, and looked at it's paw. "Ooowww!" he howled. A thorn was embedded in his paw, blood slowly oozing out.
He started licking his paw, trying to loosen it. His collar jingled loudly and the dog gave up on getting the thorn out. Instead, he limped off at a slow pace, his paw raised in the air. "Can't let my paw touch ground," He breathed. "So, who am I? Right, my name is Hunter, and I have been seperated from my siblings." Hunter looked around at his surrondings. Trees were everywhere, and pine needles littered the ground.
Then, he smelled something. "Cats? Maybe they know where Sassy is!" Hunter also knew Sassy very well, as Luna had once introduced the two. "These cats don't smell like Sassy did." Hunter's shining eyes flashed with sadness for a moment, but were replaced by happiness. "But they could help find my my brother and sister!" Hunter took another curious sniff at the thorn. He eyed it suspiciously before tugging it out with his teeth. His eyes gleamed with triumph and he spit the thorn onto the ground.
He was soon pounding through the forest, his toung lolling and his tail wagging. Hunter stopped and smushed his nose onto the ground. He inhaled deeply, and a familiar scent soon his him. Luna! Or, atleast a blanket that smelled like her. "Luna? Where are you?" His howl echoed through the dark forest, and he hoped Luna could hear him. Hunter crawled into the blanket and settled down for a good nights sleep.

"You're insane!" Tribalpaw smirked as she heard a voice behind her and sped up her pace, quickly zig zagging away and climbing up a pine tree to get a hawk-eye view of the apprentice. When he stopped, she slowly descened back to the ground, using every inch of the bushes and shadows to get behind him. Once she did, she let out a rather loud greeting, "Hello, there. So you're the apprentice who snuck out." She spoke casually, as if she wasn't tense and cautious while risking herself to punishment if she was found out with this apprentice. The warriors would think other things, she being a girl and this apprentice being a tom.
She froze, hearing a loud yowl. She heard the word 'mutt', 'help', and 're-enforcements'. Her eyes narrowed, but she grinned. Finally, something interesting! "Did you hear that? Even if you didn't, come on, now. We can see what's making all that racket." She began to pad to where she heard the warriors, looking back at the apprentice to see if he was coming or not. She made an abrupt halt, calling over her shoulder to her fellow clan-mate. "By the way, my name is Tribalpaw, if you didn't recognize the whole raccoon thing." If he didn't follow, she would leave him here, stranded alone. Since she didn't know this tom, he could have gotten mauled by the bears for all she cared.
Finally, even though it was only a few minutes, she caught sight of two cats and.. a dog? Her fur bristled, her tail lashing from side to side as she dropped into a crouch, hidden by a small fern that was about the size of her own body, ears perked as they caught every word. Shock crossed her face, growing more and more with each understandable word the female puppy had said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, in a corner of the PineClan terrain there were a pair of Twolegs. One quietly placed a cardboard box on the floor, which was closed so that whatever was inside of it could not be visible to the eyes of the prey that watched silently from the bushes. The pair of twolegs did not notice this, but stared at the box for a moment or two before leaving the area and the box that sat in the dark, snowy area, alone. Then, a thud shattered the silence. Followed by another, and another. "Get me outta here!" Cried a muffled voice, and the thuds began to grow more rapid until the top of the box burst open as it toppled over and crashed onto the earth.
A small puppy tumbled out, looking around with a confused expression. "...Huh? Where am I? And why does everything smell like cat?"Cat.. cat.. right. The felines he loved to chase back at home. There was a cat back home he didn't chase, though. His siblings forbid it because the cat was their friend. Sassy, was it? Probably. He didn't know and didn't care. His head hurt from hitting the hard carboard of the box. Right now he just wanted some water to drink. The pup began to bark loudly, calling for his humans,"I'm thirsty! Gimme water!" But there was no response. That was odd, they always came with fresh water.
Was he in trouble? And where were Luna and Hunter? He padded away from the box, tail wagging rapidly. Once he found his siblings, they could get out of this place. And he would feel the soft carpet under his paws and the warmth of his blanket when he got home. Growl sniffed around, examining the place. Everything smelled like cats, with of course, prey. Oh, food. His mouth watered, and his stomache growled. There was no prey in sight, though. He looked up at a loud howl, recognizing it. His eyes brightened and his tail wagged more, making the jingling of the jingle bells that were glued to the small red ribbon tied securely around his tail much more annoying. It was Hunter! The beagle threw his head back and let out a loud howl, "Hunterrr! Lunaaaa!" "If I wasn't, this plan would probably never work."

Hailfrost lingered around the territory. His ears perked up as he heard a yowl from cats, and later, two howls. He didn't know which way to go, he decided to follow the cry of the cat. As raced past bushes and trees, scaring the prey among them. he skidded to a halt as he saw two of his fellow clanmates...and a dog. He let out a hiss, ready to jump on the puppy, until it spoke, understanding everything the cats said to her and he could understand everything she said. His tail flickered and he ran up to the two Warriors. "There must be more dogs, I just heard their howls." he panted, trying to catch his breath, his tail flickering behind him as he glared at the small dog.
--x--
Luna jumped up as the cat approached her. "Hi!" she barked. Her ears perked up as she heard two howls, ringing in her ears, she knew they were her brothers. She flung her head back, letting out the loudest yowl she could, though she doubted they could hear it. "Hunter!!! Growl!!!" she looked back down at the cats and grinned once more. "That was my brothers!" she ran around in a circle and sat in front of the cats. "Why are you trying to hurt me?" she questioned them, her large paws kneading the ground. Her tail thumped on the dirt. "Can we find my brothers? Huh? Huh?" Her tongue sprayed slobber onto the cats, what she couldn't help it.

Hunter jerked awake. Two howls rang through his ears. "Hunterrr! Lunaaaa!" It was Growl! "Growl!!" He stood on his hind legs and let another howl escape his mouth. "Growl!! Where are you??" He dropped back on all fours and looked around. This was when the second howl filled his ears. It was closer than the last!
"Hunter!!! Growl!!!" Luna, this time. It sounded more feminine than the last. "Luna!" Hunter grabbed the blanket he had been sleeping on and dragged it a few feet forward. "Luna? Are you close?" His howl was muffled by the blanket. "Growl, Luna, I'll find you!" He dashed forward, but tears blinded his vision and he crashed into a tree. An ear-splitting howl filled the air, followed by sounds of whimpering and crying.
Dazed and confused, Hunter sat down and pushed his muzzle into the coating of pine needles. Soon he withdrew. "It's cold!" He howled again. It was dark, cold and he was scared. He needed shelter, and soon.

[[ooc; yeah thanks Fishey! xD I changed it~~]]
Needlegaze grunted as he was smashed against the ground by the pup. Giving a yowl, he struggled under the enthusiastic beagle for what seemed like an eternity before she finally got up. Gasping for breath, the red warrior scrambled to his feat. The thin, snow-covered forest spun around him as he listened to the dog bark...
...or so he thought.
This dog was mewing. She had an accent--an accent that sounded like barks, but certainly, the dog was speaking in mews. Needlegaze understood every word she said--and was positive he didn't speak dog.
Her bark-mews were enthusiastic and annoying, and Needlegaze's fur bristled in irritation. She had no intention of killing them or attacking them--she wanted to help the warriors and join them! Hissing, Needlegaze took a step forward, his dangerous amber glare piercing the supposed 'Luna's' fur.
"Why do you want to help us?!" he demanded, tail lashing, "and why should we help you find your pathetic little--" his mew was cut off as a howl sounded, then a second--and before he knew it, the dogs were all howling to each-other (it seemed more like ten than three) and Hailfrost burst into the clearing where they were standing.
Straightening up and wiping all emotion off his face, Needlegaze flattened his fur, eyes drifting to meet Hailfrost's.
"What do you say?" he mumbled. Certainly this dog was not currently a threat--but if there were more dogs in the area... "Take her back to camp as a prisoner?"
The apprentices he had been so concerned about earlier were momentarily forgotten, and the mouse he had caught was freezing in the earth. What could he say? Dogs unnerved Needlegaze, and he was struggling to keep his dignity and not show emotion.

Luna lifted her head, opening her mouth she drowned out the rest of the noise around her. "I'm going to a cat camp!!!" she looked back down at the cats, lifting her head up again, "I'm a prisoner!" She glanced at all the cats, there were more than just three around here. The beagle walked over to a small group of ferns, and picked something up lightly in her jaws. Another small cat! She dropped it in front of the other cats. "Is this kitty your friend?" she asked, oh how there were so many questions.
"I want to help you, 'cause you need to help me!" She shook her behind in the air and her chest and nose touched the ground, her front paws extending in front of her. Her tail hit the air, ruffling her fr and probably the cats.
--X--
Hailfrost met Needlegaze's gaze. "Take her back to camp? What would the others think?" he asked slowly, the pups spit had covered his fur, stick and slobbery. "Though, she doesn't seem harmful, but those other dogs might." he looked up at the beagle. Shaking her slobber from his fur he watched as Luna came back from sniffing something out. It was Tribalpaw! "Hey, put her down!" his mew was shocked and surprised, he didn't even know there was an apprentice around.
