º Wildstar leapt down from the branch she had been fidgeting on for the last hour in a single bound. Her muscles were screaming in joy. Giving her fur a good shake-out, she couldn't help but give a final lap around the tree, calling out, "C'mon JaggedClan, let's get going!"
Noble leader, noble schleader. She needed a loosening of her bones after all that stress, stiffness, and forced politeness. As she ran, her claws sheathed and unsheathed, making for a steady rythm as she mad her way back to JaggedClan territory, up the sloped cliff face, rock crumbling behind her as she sped up it's jagged terrain. The wind whipped through her fur, and it calmed her down a bit and loosened her muscles.
Stomach knotting, she began to mew aloud to herself. "I hope nothing bad has happened in JaggedClan!"

Dustwater scampered down the tree in a more graceful was than Wildstar, allowing herself a disgusted sneer at the mangy excuse for a leader before beginning to pad back to her clan--that's right, her clan. She allowed herself a crooked little grin and several sheathing and unsheathings of the claws.
"PineClan, kindly assemble," she snapped, head high, chest puffed out, before she sauntered off into the night and the sweet, snowy territory that was JaggedClan. It certainly wasn't home--she belonged in the no-lands with the rogues--but it was goodo enough for now. Besides, now that she was leader, she had several situations waiting for her back in camp--but first, she'd need to choose a deputy...

Ghoststorm did not appreciate being told what to do. Much less did he appreciate, having his words so obviously be ignored. Much, much less by a mouse-brained, spacey, JaggedClan she-cat. Hmph. Frowning, the silver tom turned his head away from Veildedeyes and padded sedately over to the tree where his leader was leaping down to the cold, earthy floor. His pelt pricked slightly as a gust of wind tore through the clearing. Not much had been solved in this clearing tonight and it was clear that the peace was still uneasy between JaggedClan and SnowClan. More of a temporary truce than proper peace.
Turning with a flick of his ears toward his mountainy home, the silver tabby tom regained his usual calm and indifferent composture. There was no need to be angry at the wide-eyed she-cat, or her mangy leader for now. That dispute would be settled later on.

To be honest, Wolfpaw hadn't really been paying attention to anything the leaders had to say. Fully occupied with staring at his fidgeting grey paws, the PineClan apprentice had caught a few drifting words, but it seemed that no other Clan was experiencing drama quite like his own Clan. The death of Ebonystar hadn't personally hurt Wolfpaw--he had never particularly liked his leader, perhaps for the fact that he had never really given Wolfpaw a mentor. No, Wolfpaw had never really seen much of Ebonystar at all. But Wolfpaw was a nervous cat. After having heard Ebonystar's final death-shriek--he shuddered at the thought--being forced to withstand an hour or two amidst a veritable ocean of felines was just too much for poor little antisocial Wolfpaw. Every couple of minutes, the scrawny grey apprentice prayed with all his heart to StarClan that maybe now he could go home and get some rest.
Needless to say, Wolfpaw was on his paws the moment Dustwater's toes touched the ground beneath the Knotted Tree. In a flash, his "leader" was on her way back to JaggedClan territory, and Wolfpaw gladly followed suit.

I've got a loverly bunch of coconuts...
'Bye, Spiritpaw!'
Ravenpaw called to her newly-made friend before getting to her paws and steadily trotting slowly after Wildstar, slowing so she could walk with Veiledeyes. 'That was soooo fun!' Ravenpaw mewed, becoming her motormouth-self again.
'I can't wait to tell mother!' The ebony-apprentice babbled on, swerving round a flint-sharp rock that jutted out of the ground unexpectantly. Her icy-blue eyes bubbled with pure joy. 'I can't wait until next time! I'll nearly be a warrior!'
Exitement filled the small black apprentice as she trotted onwards, jumping over a small trickle of water she carried on with her pointless conversation.
'Do you think i'll be the leader of JaggedClan one day, Veiledeyes?' She asked her mentor. She wondered what it would be like to sit on the knotted tree and scan her gaze over the clearing below, where cats from all the clans looked up at her with wide, round expectant eyes that lit up in the full moonlight.
See them standing in a row!!

Walking in your dreams... Nightshade jumped up quickly and watched his leader speed off around the tree, to yowling for her cats to get a move on, to speeding off into her own energy. Well, that was one change of mood. First she was nervous, fidigity and unprepared, then she was all happy and giddy, running around like a kit.
"C'mon, Oakwind! You're not going to sit there all night, are you?" The ebony tom raced over to the elder and looked at him, multi-colored eyes sparkling. Then he nodded, turned, and charged out of the clearing. +~+~+~+~+~ "Bye Ravenpaw! See you some other time!" Spiritpaw called, waving her tail in Ravenpaw's direction. She trotted out of the clearing behind her grouchy mentor. She smirked at the little wuss named Lostpaw. Trying to talk to her. That was a brave little kitty. +~+~+~+~+~+~ Stonepaw stared sadly at Lostpaw. Her childhood crush. He didn't want to speak to her, it seemed. The calico bounded up to Pebblepaw's side and glanced at Lostpaw before sighing and dashing into Sandclan territory. Aren't I evil?

Þ-- Fall breathes his chilling breath... Veiledeyes heard no piece of gore or spite or BLOODY MURDER in Wavestar's reports. So she barely listened. Her ears perked lightly, very lightly, at the news of kits. Not that that a she-cat just a few moons older then Ravenpaw, who seemed to have calmed down some, had given birth to kits. Just...that there had been kits. How embarrassing.
She ducked her head to spare few swift, harsh licks to white chest fur that had been given a brushing of dust along the lines. By the time she had jolted her slim head upwards again...well, the chapter had been read, the book closed, and the readings to be contemplated. Leaders bounded with...well, feline grace from the gnarled branches of the Knotted Tree, yowling to their respective Clans.
"C'mon JaggedClan, let's get going!"
Ah, Wildstar. Stumbling to her paws, jangly legs aching slightly from the formerly constant sitting position, Veiledeyes turned to mew to her apprentice. And saw the ebony-furred youth dashing off ahead, stopping to speak "goodbye"s and "see you soon"s to newly made friends. With a concoction equal part annoyance equal part apathy, the ashen-colored mentor darted after Ravenpaw, quickly settling into step.
As her apprentice jabbered on about the Gathering, which was responded by a distracted nod from the singular audience, Veiledeyes found herself simply happy for the warm sun peeking over the horizon; and the rocky ground that was soon sweeping under her paws.
{ Veiled to camp! }--reminding Earth of times to come...
