Ashpaw inwardly rolled his eyes and silently slipped away, intent on finding a quite spot to watch the gathering. Standing nearby a SnowClan apprentice, he glanced up at the leaders, waiting for news of what had happened in their clans, he shivered in anticipation, unable to suppress the excitement that was surging through the body, grey fur on end he watched, eyes as wide as moons and as knowledge-seeking as a kits.

Adderpaw's eyes narrowed to shards of emerald ice as the she-cat mocked him. He wasn't used to other apprentices standing up to him, especially not she-cats, and for an instant he was almost impressed. Almost. He was more concerned with defending himself and his clanmates. "Sunpaw's fine, or she will be. Skypaw is looking after her and Skypaw can heal anyone. She'll be the best medicine cat the Icy Territories has ever seen and it's too bad for you and the rest of your lousy Clan that she's a PineClan cat." He meowed confidently, boasting his sister's abilities to Seapaw regardless of the fact that she probably didn't know who she was, or that they were kin. "And I was very defensive. Warriors are supposed to be, not that I'd expect you to understand." He whispered mockingly back in her ear, quietly but scornfully, choosing not to mention that he hadn't exactly chased the bear off. Let her think what she wants.

Seapaw gave Adderpaw a ferocious, biting glare. Was he totally deaf? Did he not notice that the other cats were waiting for them to shut up and listen?! But she did not say a word this time, figuring that now, if anyone was to get the bad end of the situation, it would be Adderpaw, and she did not move away from him, rather, pushed her mouth closed and sat attentivley, waiting for the rest of the gathering to continue. She dipped her head shortly in aplology before returning to her statue-like stance and awaiting news from her clan.

Wavestar glanced at the surrounding cats, then dipped her head to Wildstar. "Wildstar?" She enquired, hoping that the gathering would soon begin. The she-cat curled her tail around her amber-tinged body, vibrant amber eyes glinting and glittering.

[[ooc;; erhm, it has started ^^ Ebonystar reporeted PineClan's news and has turned the gathering over to Wavestar so that she can announce her updates]]
Wildstar nodded at Wavestar, flicking her tail to indicate that Wavestar should begin telling the news of SandClan.

When the apprentice did not answer, Adderpaw raised his head again to watch the leaders once more, shooting her one last triumphant glance. In his mind, he could see no other reason for her to be quiet than that she had given up. SandClan, he thought, what a bunch of quitters. Flicking his tail slightly in satisfaction, he resisted the urge to throw in one last jibe and tried to pay attention. Who was giving their report next?

Sensing the pride and arrogance being emitted from the apprentice next to her, Seapaw realized he must think that since he had gotten the last word in, he had won. There was no way she was letting that big-headed tree-lovin' wuss think he got his way, so when she was sure no one was looking, and without even glancing his way, she gave him a mighty whack on the back with her tail, not enough to bruise, but just enough to irritate him to some degree, and let him know that she had won. Anything harder than that, she assumed, would not just irritate the apprentice, it would also irritate StarClan.

Adderpaw's self-congratualtions were interupted by a sound whack on his back that made him suddenly lean forwards. What was that? He was in the act of turning around to look when he realised it must have been Seapaw. He let out a soft hiss that was interupted by a flick on the head from a nearby browny-gold warrior's tail. Silently fuming, the apprentice waited until the warrior's gaze had returned to the leaders before unsheathing one claw and giving the annoying she-cat beside him a not-so-soft prod in the side with it. Not enough to pierce the skin, but good enough for payback. If it wasn't for the truce he would have probably clawed her but this was a Gathering.

Keeping her cool, and ignoring the sharp pain in her side, Seapaw gave Adderpaw a sideways glance that was sure to make the tom's fur prickle in embarassment. Loud and mocking were her eyes as they pierced into his face, a look that said "Come now, what kind of a response was that?" good enough to defeat such a prod, she thought, and less noticeable. It was by far the better retort. She then rolled her eyes and returned her attention to the tree.

(Gah! Sorry about that. Lol, that be embarresing...) Wavestar dipped her head. "SandClan... is doing well with prey, though storms are getting in our way." She hesitated. "But there is bad news too. My apprentice, Shadowpaw, has run away, disoriented. After seemingly having a dream..." Mosspaw froze, another cat had had a dream? This was big news, he gazed up at Wavestar and the other leaders, hoping for more information.

This took Wildstar by surprise, and she couldn't help her eyes bugging out in alarm. What kind of horrible dream would be so bad that it would cause an apprentice to run away?! She gave a shudder, only able to imagine, but said nothing.
[[ooc;; Haha it's alright! No need to be embarassed :3]]

What kind of dream would that be? Ebonystar wondered. With all the disdain he held for the other clans, it was still strange that a cat would dream, let alone have such a horrible dream to cause him to run away? Flicking his tail from side to side, the tom walked up forward on his tree branch, so he was a little closer to Wavestar. "What type of dream? Was it a prophecy?" The tom mewed rather loudly. The only time cats normally dreamed was when there was a prophecy.
Yewstorm looked up at Wavestar, alarm in her eyes. Her own dream had been nerve-wrecking, but she had succeeded in pushing it to the back of her mind.. But would an apprentice manege? Shuddering, and not just from the cold, Yewstorm decided she would swallow her pride and report her dream to Wildstar after the gathering was over.
Penguinfur looked up sadly, because as the SandClan deputy, he already knew this bit of news.

"Yes," Wildstar mewed in alarmed agreement, "Was it a prophecy? It seems as if it would be. Any striking wordes or phrases? Things that would indicate the future being announced?" She realized that with such a frenzied apprentice, not much might have been said before she ran out, but maybe Shadowpaw had wailed something, said something that other cats didn't understand, but noticed.

Wavestar shook her head. "It seemed that she had a dream, but she ran out of the apprentice den, I triedb to follow but..." She trailed off, the meaning was obvious. (Should the cats who had dreams tell the clans?)
