Post reserved for Moonstar's response at the gathering:
Moonstar shivered uncomfortably at the thought of the prophecies. Nevertheless, she stepped elegantly forwards to speak for her Clan. "SnowClan is doing well," she began, her voice tiny. Clearing her throat, she meowed more strongly, "We are doing well. We now have a new deputy, Raindance." All cat heads swiveled in Raindance's direction. She decided not to mention Mosspaw's recent dream, as she did not want to elaborate on the fact that cats were dreaming prophecies. She then talked about their food shortage, but not as if they were getting weak. Knowing she had finished, she flicked her ears, and padded gracefully back to the other leaders. {By Shadow as Moonstar}

Wildstar nodded at Moonstar. "Thank you, Moonstar. JaggedClan is doing well. There is no shortage of prey--though we don't yet have a Medicine Cat or Deputy, we should have both by the next gathering. As you know, Yewstorm has recieved the dream from StarClan as well, and we thank her for sharing her vision with the clans," She then sat down, glancing around her.
"I don't think they're wrong, either Adderpaw," Seapaw mewed softly, a feeling of general despair beginning to settle over her. Something big was going to happen. It would involve blood and water, she knew it. And she was worried. She glanced over to see what Addperpaw thought, but he seemed to be lost in a daydream, most likley fanasizing about fame an glory, and it filled her with an unusual warmth. She had only known the tom for a short while, and most of it had been spent arguing, but she felt that from what she'd seen of him, if this was his true nature, at least he was staying the same, despite the changes of the physical world, future, and StarClan, and this reassured her.

The ginger apprentice blinked slowly, coming out of his day-dream at the worried tone in Seapaw's voice. He knew she would be concerned about the prophecy, especially as it seemed it would be 'getting here from over the sand', or something like that. His dark green eyes travelled slowly over the big powerful cats inthe clearing, along with the clever leaders and enthusiatic apprentices and he felt a surge of hope. "Don't worry too much." He meowed with a bit more brightness, "Whatever is coming, the Clans can handle it. Nothing has driven us out before and I honestly don't think anything ever will." Adderpaw was comforted by his own words as well, and tried to put as much confidence and conviction in them as possible. He glanced at the SandClan apprentice with a sudden lightness of heart before remembering that they were from different Clans and would probably be facing the danger in different ways. "Anyway, as soon as I'm a warrior, I'll have those enemies running in terror!" Adderpaw finnished with a gleam of anticipation. One day, he would prove he was as great as any other cat. And greater than some. He added silently, with an unfriendly glance at Needlegaze. Stormcloud nodded at his own leader's words, knowing them, at least, to be true. It was simply bad luck that their last medicine cat had died without training an apprentice but Stormcloud knew another cat would come along soon enough. It was only a matter of time. As for deputy...well, it would probably be Yewstorm, as she was much more experienced. She was a strong fighter too, even if she was a little agressive.

Seapaw rolled her eyes at the apprentice. She was right. Not even a stom would change his big-headed gloating. It was slightly amusing, though, watching him puff his chest out and speak proudly of what he thought he could do, and she stifled a purr of laughter, knowing it would just set him off again.
Wildstar glanced around, then stood up again, adressing all the cats. "Is there anything else any cat would like to put in? If not, the gathering will end shortly," she mewed loudly. After all the announcements were made, she expected the cats would be tiven time to say final farewell to friends, and then the cats would be returning to clan territories.

Adderpaw stood up again, curling and uncurling his tail to shake off the pins and needles that had been prickling it. He didn't like sitting down for too long, warriors should be active! The ginger apprentice went to join Needlegaze and his leader but paused, turning back to Seapaw for a second. "See you at the next Gathering probably. I might even be a warrior by then." He meowed grandly in farewel before padding over to the other toms of PineClan. Ghostorm raised himself to his paws silently and wound his way between the other cats until he was nearer to Raindance, Mosspaw and Moonstar, ready to leave with them in a minute. Stormcloud heaved a sigh as he realised the Gathering was closing up. He waited where he sat for the other JaggedClan cats to leave. He was sitting near the way out so wouldn't have to move until they reached him.

Seapaw's whiskers twitched in amusement at Adderpaw's remark. It never stops wit him, she realized. "See you, Adderpaw!" she called back as she watched the tom pad proudly over to sit with Ebonystar. She then lanced over to Wavestar and sat down, waiting for SandClan to assemble.
Leaping down from the low-hanging branch she had been sitting on, Wavestar padded over to one end of the knotted tree closer to JaggedClan and stood patient as she waited for her clan to assemble. It had been a good gathering, especially for her first one, she thought, and was relieved that all had gone well despite the two obviously bickering apprentices sitting in one corner. At least Bonepaw and Pepperpaw, for the most part, had stayed out of trouble.
Bonekit leaped up from where she had been sitting on the ground and lanced over to her leader, eyes bright. "C'mon, Ashpaw!" she mewed excitedly as she bolted across the ground to Wildstar. Her muscles had been tight and stiff sitting there, and she had every intention of loosening them before she left. Purring with contentment at the results of the gathering and the fact that she was able to go, she almost completley forgot that by the time she passed through JaggedClan again, she would be called Bonekit. Pepperpaw hissed, sitting up stiffly from her positin and watching her sister bound away like a reckless kit. She never learns, she thought bitterly, before treading after her sister in a slower and more dignified way, head held high as she padded in a buisnesslike fashion across the clearing to where her leader was standing, lookind down in what Pepperpaw presumed to be amusement and compassion (what kind of leader was this?!) at the White and black kit who was leaping about, tail flailing in the air. An embarassment to JaggedClan, Pepperpaw thought, giving a sniff of defiance.
Standing up, Raindance padded over to where Wavestar was standing with Ghoststorm and Mosspaw. "That was a good gathering, wasn't it?" she mewed in excitement. There had been bad news, but it had been exciting, and even though the feeling of despair was still heavy in the air, the effect of being a deputy at a gathering still hadn't worn off of Raindance. "But what will we do about the propehcy? What do you think it means?" she mewed, tilting her head to one side, eyes flicking around the framiliar faces of her clanmembers.
Needlegaze stood up stiffly, giving his fur one buisnesslike shake. He was dissapointed that the general feeling of despair over the ridiculous, coincidental dreams was still around. If it was a real propehcy, he would have gotten a dream, he knew that, and he hadn't so it coudln't be. Walking over to Ebonystar and Adderpaw, ready to leave, he did not intend to speak of the gathering, or the prophecy. In fact, he did not intend to speak at all. He was in a bad mood after all the commotion at the gathering.

Ebonystar sat with the rest of the PineClan cats, waiting for the reminder of his warriors so he could set back off to the camp. At least he calmed down a bit, so he wasn't spitting with wrath like he was a few minutes ago. Patiently waiting, the leader stole a glance at his warriors. The gathering hadn't gone well, thanks to all dreams the cats received. But of course they weren't in danger. Why would StarClan choose to reveal themselves to lowly warriors and apprentices, without saying a word to the leaders or the deputies of the clans? It's impossible. Ebonystar decided.
Yewstorm padded quickly to the rest of the JaggedClan cats. Naturally, she was more troubled by that idiot Bonekit and her silly apprentice, Ashpaw, then by her dream. Denial was how Yewstorm let herself become a strong cat, after all. Flattening her ears on her thick skull, the she-cat walked past the kit and the apprentice with her tail high, and her eyes pointed upwards. Why did Wildstar decide to let these two shameful cats attend the gathering?
Penguinfur let his tail hang limply in between his legs. Not only was there some strange ominous danger coming up, but he also had to organize a patrol to find Shadowpaw, Wavestar's apprentice. Shuddering at the thought of going out into the cold shores of SandClan, and looking for a tiny apprentice through the salty, roaring sea, wasn't an idea Penguinfur particularly enjoyed. Which was why the deputy walked up to the SandClan cats with dampened spirits.

Ghoststorm's worried gaze gained a hint of amusement at Raindance's first comment, glad at least, that she was enjoying her new position. At her question, his expression fell into darkness once more. "I don't know, but something tells me we'll be finding out soon enough." {{ There's nothing more for my kitties to do at this Gathering...}}

Glancing around, Wildstar checked to make sure all the cats from her clan were with her. Bonekit, Ashpaw, Pepperpaw, Yewstorm, and Stormcloud. Excellent. "All right, let's go!" she yowled, leading her clan exuberantly from the clearing by the tree. Passing by some gathering SnowClan cats, she nodded her head in farewell. "Until next time," she mewed, before slipping away to scale the edge of the cliff leading to JaggedClan camp. She then reached the border, pausing a moment to scent the air before slipping into JaggedClan territory, her clan in tow.
Bonekit and Pepperpaw bounded after their leader as she made her way out of the territory, up the sloped sides of the cliff, laden with jagged, pointy rocks, natrually maneuvering their way around them as JaggedClan cats did.
[[Going back to JaggedClan camp board!]]
[[ooc;; since Shadow won't be here until Tuesday, Raindance will lead the way back to camp, and we'll imagine like Moonstar is there.]]
Glancing around to double check that her clan was all present, Raindance leaped up, padding alongside her leader as they approached the mountain they called home. Giving a curt nod in response to Wildstar's brief greeting, Raindance scuttled out of camp, and began to ascend the mountain, her clan following close behind, claws scrabbling against the cold stone of the mountain, until finally, they were rounding a sloped bend, approaching the SnowClan camp where cats were waiting on guard.
[[Yup, Snowclan, to the camp board!]]

Wavestar signalled for her clan to leave, jumping down from the knotted tree, she raced towards her territory, te cold night air whipping her fur back, SandClan following her as they approached what looked like the sea. [Back to SandClan territory. ^^]
