Raindance took a few steps back, giving Moonstar a weary look. "What do you say?" she mumbled, "Should we take the cat in?" She was all for helping cats, but this one was too suspcious. Jumping with a broken leg? Knowing about medicine cats? Where was this cat from, and why had she come to them?
[[ooc;;Birchleaf, are you mean to be playing as your cat, Birchleaf? If so, please write something in the beginning of your posts so that we know who you're talking about. You know, maybe "Birchleaf's leg gave out" rather than "her leg gave out" or something subtle but telling like that.]]

Moonstar gave the stranger a searching look, and seemed to be scanning it. Finally, she came to rest on the cats eyes, and stared deep into them, piercing into their depths. She broke the gaze, and looked at Raindance, shrugging her powerful shoulders. "We must care for this cat. Although," she added in a more quiet tone, "try to find when she came from. We don't want enemy coming regularly into out territory."

Mosspaw nodded, standing to the side so that the cat had a passage through into camp. Hostilty rose in his throat, but he swallowed it down angrily, turning his head to hide the flames in his eyes.

"You dont have to help me, i can help myself if you'll only take me to your medicine den if thats ok." Birchleaf didnt say the words bitterly, but with a deep and kind respect. "Please."

Mosspaw put his head to one side. "I guess you can come in, Moonstar seemed to say yes." He offered his shoulder once more, "How on earth could you jump with a broken leg?"

This confused Raindance. A lot. So much, that her body nearly shook with rage. "If you don't need our help, why were you wailing like a kit? If your leg is broken, how can you jump and walk on your own? Who are you? Where are you from?!"
[[ooc;;Birchleaf, again, who are you playing as?? xD]]

Mosspaw's eyes flamed in anger, his fur bristled, but he didn't step away from the cat, he needed to help, it was something he just needed to do, but the apprentice was furious. "Liars are common, Raindance." He hissed, abrely audably.

Ghoststorm had to physically stop his eyes from rolling. This cat seemed to have a broken leg and yet it had been jumping? It also seemed to know about medicine cats, which Ghoststorm found suspicious and to top it all off, she had just said that she could infact help herself. Why were they out here? He flicked a slightly alarmed glance at his denmate, Raindance, who seemed ready to claw this she-cat here and now. "Perhaps we'd better get you inside." He meowed carefully to the new cat, adding softly to his leader and Raindance, "She may be from another Clan and have some useful information. We could keep her as a prisioner if she won't speak." Either way, he wanted to get them all back into the warmth of the cave as soon as possible.

Moonstar gave a resigned nod. Standing, she flicked her tail to the shaken cat. "Are you coming or not?" she meowed sharply. Greatly annoyed, she hoped this cat was not here to stay. She did not want a frightened cat who could not handle injury in her Clan. You had to be a born fighter to live up here in these conditions, she though angrily.

BIRCHLEAF hissed through her teeth at the leader," You better believe i am!" She replied to the other cats," When you walk through this much snow, the pain lessens from the injury. Did you not notice how i fell after i jumped? Oh an also, i can take care of this myself as i said if you will just lead me to your medicine den. ( Continued in med den if ok with everyonE!)

"Then why not just walk there on your own?!" Raindance mumbled, fury still building in her chest. The snow had been coming down so thick, she couldn't even make down the scent or sight of Birchleaf. Now that all the cats knew who she was, it was even more agitating. A SnowClan cat who knew her way around and 'could take care of herself' didn't NEED to yell for help! Still, she tried to put on a calm face. How could she have let herself get so out of hand?! It's been a long day, she thought wearily, maybe Moonstar is right, all I need is a warm den and a good meal. Or as good as SnowClan "meals" could get, at lest. She did not look back at the cat, rather, padded into the SnowClan camp, assuming the others would follow.
[[Yup, continued on this board then :D]]

Mosspaw spat at at the cat, then whisked around furiously for the apprentice den, stumbling inside, he curled into a small, tight ball, letting his anger tire him. He dreamt a dream. Mosspaw was swimming, drowning, gasping for breath. Raking his claws against the water, he struggled for air. Suddenly, a long, glistening, rainbow fish swam up to him. Opening its mouth, it revealed a huge set of fangs, and suddenly, that's where Mosspaw was. No longer struggling. Sitting in a dark, empty space, with fangs for walls. "HELP!" he mewed frantically, eyes darting around. At that moment, a cold wind hit his face, and suddenly, all was white, cold, and harsh. Mosspaw could feel his pelt being raked at by the harsh wind, and snowlfakes slammed into his sensitive eyeballs. Instinctivley, he closed his eyes, temporarily blinded by the wet snow. "NO!" he yowled. All around in the darkness of her eyes, he could see nothing but dark water. Suddenly, from this water, cats emerged. More and more, leaping from the wetness, and then dissolving into nothing, sending a spray of shapless droplets of watter raining down on him. Immediatley after, piercing words then flooded the area, dulling all other senses, and making Mosspaw forget that the wind and snow around him was prbably ripping out his fur. In a fierce, high-pitched yowl, a prophecy sounded: "Bold and striking Arriving from beyond the sand Bringing with it death A new permanent threat Look for it in the water"
And suddenly, Mosspaw's eyes were wide open, his body writhing on the ground in pain, claws scrabbling, scraping, digging into the ground below. StarClan was gone, but the dream remained, engrained in his brain...

[[ooc;;nice way of incorporating the StarClan dream into the RP! :3]]
Raindance raced over to the writhing apprentice's side. "Mosspaw! What's wrong?! Are you alright?!" she mewed frantically, trying to nudge the young tom to his paws, "What's going on?! Were you having a dream? What was it??" She gazed at him, eyes panicked. She had already worried about him once today. It must've been the cold he'd been out in--that had to be it! He was coming down with something, and her moss green eyes burned in pain at the sight of his writhing body.

[[ooc: Thanks!]] "Bold and Striking..." Mosspaw forced himself to stop writhing, he shakily reflected that not in a million years would he forget the dream he had just expirienced."A dream. Just a dream." He muttered, dazed.

This was too much, Raindance realized. Bold and striking. What did it mean? "Mosspaw, you seem really shaken. I think you should speak with Moonstar about your dream. Or someone. Dreams don't...don't usually have this kind of effect!" She could not hide the worry for the apprentice in her green eyes, and for a moment, she felt she may collapse in a wail of despair, for she felt this was all her fault, sending the apprentice alone out in the snow.
