Wind was out hunting, a fish was in her jaws. As she came around the other side of the mossy cave to see Wood first, and tons of other cats, she was confused. Dearly. Russian blue she-cat came up to Wood, and blinked. She laid her fish down, scales shiny.. still. "What's going on?" She asked, her voice totally confused. Then, before waiting for him, she pawed her fish to his feet. "Hungry?" Wind was kind like that, usually to her friends. She liked Wood as a friend, though she barely talked to anyone. This was the time to talk, for her.

Wood looked up, surprised to see Wind back from hunting. He had hardly noticed her absence, and she looked very confused. She must have missed the announcement altogether, he realized.
"Lightning's made an alliance with a group of land cats," Wood mewed softly, suddenly nervous that she'd laugh at him if he seemed to worried about the situation, "And they're going to help us train and fight for land," his stomach churned in agony, and when Wind offered him the fish, he could have barfed.
"N-no thanks" he mewed, embarrassment showing in the prickling fur on the back of his neck. Why did he have to be such a wuss?
"C'mon," he mewed, following his healer and the dark land cat. They were re-locating, "Bring the fish," he called back. His voice was quavering, which made him even more embarrassed, but he tried to stay strong as he padded after his healer and tribe.

LAND CATS ! What was wrong with Lightning! His brain is messed up, I swear! Swear swear swear! I bet those land cats are just going to kill them! How could he! Speechless, eyes felt like they were blazing. Then she noticed how weird he acted when she pushed the fish toward him. She blinked. Odd. She noticed him pad off. "Nah." She whispered as she started to dig a small hole and put her fish in it, who cared? She wasnt hungry, she ate a fish because she was starving earlier. Covering it up she ran to Wood. "You approve of this?"

Wood hesitated, considering Wind's question. He approved of Lightning's judgment but...
"I'm not sure," he started slowly, wondering if his idea was stupid, "I trust Lightning but not that land cat. Not at all. I approve of his judgment, but I don't approve of what I think Swallow's going to turn this into" here he sighed. He probably sounded stupid, and the fur on the back of his neck prickled in discomfort at the mere thought of Wind laughing at him. His opinion didn't even matter, he realized! Besides, why would a fish-catcher care about the thoughts of a to-be, especially a wimpy one?
Padding slowly after Lightning and the other clan cats, he was about to add that they wouldn't be returning to the cave, but decided against it. Wind could come back for the fish once Ocean Sea had arrived at the new camp. No need to drag a fish along the first time going there.

Dark clenched his teeth and followed Lightning, padding stifly, his shoulder blades barely flexing under his black, blue-tinged fur. [[SO darn short...]]

Horizon stiffened at the announcement. Privately, she thought Ocean Sea didn't need any help. They were strong enough. They didn't need any other cat to hunt for them, or help them train. And she didn't trust Swallow at all. She might be just like the other land cats. And she was anxious to hear what part of the landscape they would attack for territory. She had some knowledge of the surroundings when...When she had been there before. And she was dearly glad that they were not attacking SandClan again. Because she knew one of the members. Nonetheless, she padded after Lightening, trotting over to join Dark, who looked moody at the point to move. "Are you alright?" Horizon asked him, concerned, as he looked unhappy.

~||~ As the wind shook Lightning he smelled the tangy ocean scent of his old home and felt a wave of wearieness seep through him. He wished they could just go back and float about forever but what kind of life was that really? No, he had made the right desicion. They were staying on land. Realising that the more doubt he showed, the more his cats would doubt him, Lightning adjusted his stance to one of confidence and turned around to face his cats. "Wood, please get the Whispering-Shell. We shall need it, wherever we go." He instructed calmly, keeping one ear flicked toward Swallow. Whatever the she-cat had planned for his Tribe, he was determined to make sure it didn't happen. They would take her help and leave as soon as the cold times were over. It was most definetly a temporary allegiance. [[Okay, I guess we'll be off as soon as Wood gets the shell. Thanks for reminding me about that, by the way. >.<]] ~||~

OOC: Ok! BIC: Dark turned, seeing Horizon, he looked at her for a second, realising with an uncomfortable though, that he had trouble ripping his gaze away from her sleek pelt.
"I'm fine, " He shrugged, once again adopting his slightly moody personality. "But Ocean Sea is strong, we have braved the harshest storms, and..." He hesitated. "I don't trust that she-cat, she could abandon us in a moment, and if she's working for those fishbrained land cats..." He narrowed his eyes slightly.

Wood looked up in surprise at his healer's instruction and nodded, padding back into the cave. He was glad that his leader trusted him with this responsibility, and felt his fur prickle in humble embarrassment at being chosen. He found the whispering shell in a protected, mossy crevice in the cave, and picked it up delicately in his mouth. All at once, the words of the Tribe of Endless Swimming seemed to rush around him, and he gasped, nearly dropping the shell. Tightening his jaw around its smooth, ice cool surface, he padded uneasily back out to his healer. Dipping his head to Lightning, he returned to Wind's side, and hoped that she wouldn't comment on his responsibility.

The slender Healer did not miss the surprise in Wood's gaze as he brought the shell over and was privately glad that he had asked the little brown to-be to do so. It was...interesting. "Thank you Wood." Lightning meowed calmly, not letting anything from his mind slip through to his words. He picked up the shell delicately between teeth, blinking slowly to clear his head of the celestial whispers which came with that action. Flicking his tail for his loyal Tribe to follow, the tom plunged out of the cave and after Swallow, who had slipped off the minute she saw they were ready, an uneasily triumphant look in her eyes.

Dark paused, glanced at Horizon, then followed Lightning, his black fur swaying with hispering strands of a thousand reflected colours, shades and hues.
The tom's blazing yellow eyes tracken the shell in his leader's jaws, orbs of sight struck with partly awe and partly self-consciosness. It wasn't often Dark was in the presence of something that he admittably called above him. Apart from Lightning of course. But that was somehow different...

Wind flickered her tail at Wood's answer. She disagreed with him totally, well, a bit. She kept her gaze fixed on their leader/healer, as she kept her gaze there, before, Lightning asked Wood to get the shell. A hiss came from her throat, one just for her to hear, and maybe Wood heard it. She flickered her ears as she watched Wood go back to get the shell, and when he went off her gaze fixed on Swallow and Lightning.
Fools.
Making them, stay on LAND, where, they liked the water. Sure, she knew land moves, but.. she preferred water, I mean, what now? She was a fish-cathcer, not some stupid mouse or whatever they eat catcher. She. only. wanted. fish.
She kept her gaze on Ligntning, and when Wood went and gave the shell, she noticed the to-be at her side. She flickered her gaze at him. "I might stay behind." She hissed to herself.

♫ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> Wood felt fear flicker though his slender dark form at Wind's words. She might stay behind. How could she do this? The tribe had to stick together!
"Wh-what?" he mewed, eyes widening, "Why?" he felt his fur prickle. He wasn't usually one to question a cat's motives, and he hoped she wouldn't make fun of him for doing so, but she couldn't just leave the tribe! They needed every cat. He didn't say any more though, for fear that he would be called a wuss, or a goody-two-shoes, or even a mouse lover.

Wind sighed, as she looked at Wood, with a motherly look. "I refuse, I refuse, to live like this." She snapped herself around, not caring if Lightning decided to notice, or if any cat did.
She expected Wood to forget about her. Who noticed Wind?
No one did. She was so quiet, she doubted half the clan even knew she existed. Shes sighed as she threw a small look back, feeling her heart twist as she kept on walking to the beaches, her home.
This.. was a bad idea. She could tell, but, she refused to be like this.
Hooked up with some Land cats. How could Lightning do this?.

♫ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> Suddenly, Wood was angry. He was unable to hid it, and he spoke quickly, harshly, without thinking. "You think I want to live like this?" Wood snapped back, tail lashing, "You think Lightning wants us to live like this? We're doing what we have to now! You can't just leave because you miss the sea! We're going to have to make do, and we can't do it if the Tribe is breaking apart. You're letting land weaken you! Land shouldn't be able to tear you from your tribe! Some rocks--" he paused, knocking a small stone away from him and watching it skitter across the ground, "--should not get in the way of your loyalty!"
Never before had he spoken to a fish-catcher, or any cat for that matter, in such a way. Never had he become so angry. Why? Why was he so desperate to cling to the Tribe he had once taken for granted? Why did he need every cat to be here? He shuddered at the realization of what he had said and how he had said it, and he felt his fur rise in embarrassment. He had made a fool of himself, he just knew it. He could not see the world through another's eyes, but he could try, and all he saw was an idiotic to-be ranting to a fish-catcher. Eyes swelling with tears, he murmured.
"I-I'm sorry Wind," and whipped around, padding quickly after his tribe, trying to catch up. Fine. Wind could leave. What business of that was his? She was his tribemate that's why it was his business. But they hardly knew each-other. He struggled with the two ideas for a moment, hesitating on his journey across the frozen ground, stuck between keeping Wind from leaving the tribe, or simply following his healer.
